Can you help me understand something? I just bought a dwyer 1-0-1" range magnehelic to take static pressure readings on hvac systems, i have digitals as well but wanted to try out on of these. So when i want to take a single reading on return air for example, and i have a static tip and tube connected to the negative port,why does it read as positive? I cant find any info on this anywhere. The two ports in back i have plugged,and one of the side ports is always open to atmosphere when taking single point readings. The same thing happens when i take a supply air reading hooked up to the positive port,it reads negative instead of positive. Can you help me understand this please? Thank you
