I went for a run and listened to this song for 40 minutes😀 it has that GUS feeling in it. Definitely one of my new faves! Also, not that there is anything to do with this but let it be, your long notes here remind me of Chester from Linkin Park. To me that's beautiful too❤

theneedledrop brought me here with his tracks of the week. He rated this among his worst of the week. I've never heard Gus's music before this but I just went and listened to a few of his most popular tracks here on this channel. I don't like any of them at all, but I like this song 🤷

I think you may just prefer bands like COiN and Glass Animals and such that make straight-ahead radio pop without the starpower. I still think the vocal processing on this track is just bad, but the style is very consistent with radio pop.
@@manifestationnation His other stuff was playful like 6-7 yrs ago when he debuted on the scene, I think you would've had to have been around the bedroom-pop flowerboy type stuff that was dropping then to be invested in the vibe, this just feels so, why? not at all what I would want from a dapperton track, though admittedly haven't listened to him in yrs. Hope the rest of the project is alright, and cool that somebody likes it.
