  • Welcome to Hileez Kitchen and Vlogs. Today we're sharing a tasty and healthy recipe with you. We'll be making a yummy dish with Black Taro (known as 'Kola Kosu' in Assamese) and Masoor Dal. I have added thekera in the preparation to give a tangy taste.

    Ingredients:
    A bunch of black colocasia (Kola Kosu) stems
    A bowl of Masoor Dal (soak in water for 30 mins)
    2 Onions - Chopped
    2 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
    3 pieces Thekera Tenga
    1/2 tsp Kalonji
    4 Green Chillies
    2 Dry Red Chillies
    2 Bay Leaves
    1 Tbsp Cumin Powder
    1 Tsp Black Pepper Powder
    4 Tbsp Mustard Oil
    1 tsp Turmeric Powder
    Salt To Taste
