I think those floral pants would be described as palazzo pants with skirt overlay. They look like they could be sold at Free People. Super cute and funky.

I had those in 2-toned! Black in back, brown in front. Soooo funny! I also had the matching top that had the black & brown reversed. I thought i was super styling, lol

Ridgewood my old stomping grounds. I was born in Valley Hospital. I grew up in Hawthorne one town over. There use to be some really nice shops. Long gone. Very waspy town with some beautiful old homes and uppity attitudes.

Those vintage lamps you passed by you can get some good money for MSM items. Sell on Facebook marketplace. That’s what I do don’t sell on e bay or other sites to avoid shipping and fees

I can't believe they don't mark their items- I would hate to always ask- How much is this!!!!!! The rummages here have all items marked- makes it a lot simpler!!!!!!
And it saves time for both buyer & seller. Buyers don't have to search & chase down sellers to ask the prices. And imagine how many times a seller might give out prices on the same item because it's unmarked.
Oh I forgot I love the Patience Brewster reindeer. So whimsical and cool. I would have grabbed those, too!
When I have my Yard Sale come this August...I am marking it cheap just to get rid of it. I just have way to much to save everything...Last day will be Stuff-A-Bag.

Ridgewood N.J is know as an upscale area with expensive homes so I'm not surprised at the prices you encountered. all the items you showed were pricey when they were new so I think you got some very good deals.

I had a pair of those pants mid to late 80' s they were so comfortable, wrap pants. I also had the wrap dress, late 70's and of course the wrap skirt!

Some people crack me up with pricing at yard sales, I mean do they really think they are going to sell anything??? It's a lot of work, you would think they would price it to sell.
I made those palazzo pants in 1968! It’s a variation on Simplicity pattern # 8134- the back view of the pattern shows the layout- I believe the class was called intro to Home Ec ( girls only)
Mia just sold on EBay for 180.00, Ridgewood people have a lot of money and don’t need to sell stuff at a loss.
The pants are like a wrap around-ish so it's not too hot to wear but "very desirable" during the summer in the tropical areas...
I've sold Lori Mitchell before. The bolo to watch for is the birthday dog. Sold mine for $198
I am pretty sure the reindeers are made by Patience Brewster part of Mac Kenzie Childs. They are very expensive. All MC items are top quality and beautiful.
Those wild pants are very popular in the Caribbean.

You can’t blame people viewing past sales on eBay and knowing what items are worth…re-salers are no different than those with yard sales. Why shouldn’t they not get what it’s worth?

They want the high prices of eBay, they need to put in all the work. I have a yard sale or go to a flea market... I sell everything for a 1.00 or 2.00... it's not the time to request high prices😊
@@michd5507 so true, however, between eBay fees, postal do you actually get what your asking? No. Not everyone has the luxury of a printer to print eBay labels, or have a PC. They rely on their phones for info.
I command your patience with nearly every place it was " 5 years ago the original price was ..." it is exhausting,
glad you got a lady who actually wanted to sell, I mean in the end all the money goes back into a good cause or their pockets, no point in sitting on items for months.Less space spent on storage and less time spent on dusting.

Hey when I was young ie high school I used to sew for everyone and that fabric is familiar, flower power and Goldie Hawn dancing in them painted and in a cage on laugh in. Really dating myself here. I had a shift dress I think I made in similar fabric. Lol. I don't know if you know how entertaining this was. And yeah, I see that some people didn't know how to act at yard sale seller position. She said all the dolls were so much then you bring one and she wants full retail plus...lol...Tina you are charming. Loved it! Keep filming please. This picked up my whole day.

One time after just renting an apartment at a new employment I used my pressure cooker to make pinto beans. Well I was impatient and opened lid to soon a red beans and juice was dripping from the ceiling and running down the walls of the kitchen and dining room. What a mess! I least I didn't get burned.

You should have checked that bluish greenish square vase, where you picked up the glass bowl with gold trim on it.
It might have been a piece of Hager pottery.You should have checked to see how much the Pyrex pot was. Were they Nerf guns on the table, where you picked the toy up that you bought in the house.
That was a steal out of that house with the plates and folk art. I said out loud, Tina if you pick that box up with one hand your going to drop it. Stick a magnet to the toe of the Keen boots and see if it sticks, if not they still might be composite and they're worth good money. The Lenox blue tree saucers sells for around $8 a piece. Nice video.

Hi Tina. Were those bowls at 1:05 mid century? Maybe Culver? Looks like I saw more mid century glasses next to the set that you picked up. Do you ever buy that type? If not, look them up. They well REALLY well. You finally find a sale with a lot of good vintage items and the prices are "antique mall" prices.

Where are you selling the clothing?
Wrap pants? Maybe also called tulip pants. Yes, google tulip pants patterns.
Maybe some of the items on sale at the women's club are asking the high prices, in the way that resellers sell stuff for now, at high prices!
Resellers look up all these items to compare what the going prices are but never give breaks on the prices they ask. It's all about $$$$ reselling at high prices.
Some people can't get out to yard sales, maybe don't have a car, or physically not able to get out and about. So, yes they look online but resellers sell at ridiculously high prices a lot of the time.
I'm not saying all the time, but most of the time this is the case.
