Excellent video work as always. I used to watch "Air Wolf" when I was younger and even built a model or two (which I still have, my wife has been dropping hints that as I'm getting older, I should thin them out a little, LOL) It was nice to see this one put through it's paces. The only music I heard was "Walking in The Air" by Nightwish with Tarja, one of my favorite bands and songs. It fit the performance nicely. I realize that as a videographer you really don't want to be next to a speaker, but as someone who has been going to airshows, both RC and real, for nearly 40 years, announcers play an important role. Most, if not all of these pilots are not compensated. They risk thousands of dollars and out of pocket expenses and deserve recognition. I know it is difficult if you don't understand the language and they don't talk ALL the time, but they are providing an education to the spectators and giving back as a thank you to the pilots. And most of the music you hear is picked by the pilots themselves. They usually coordinate their performance to it or, in my case, use it as a way of focusing and putting in a better performance. This really isn't a commentary on you Horst, but I noticed a few comments where people may not understand the nuances of a good airshow, and this one looked like a great one. Can't wait to watch parts two and three. Knowing your work, they will be exceptional. I follow very few RC videographers, you, TBOBBORAP, and one or two others. Your work makes it exciting. I can't fly as often as I used to so I live vicariously through you guys. Thank you so much and God Bless, Paul from Florida. PS, and no, I didn't come to Florida to retire. I was raised here. LOL.
Spawn 1960 _Hi Paul. First of all I want to say_ *_thanks for your kind comments !_* Regarding the announcer and music I fully agree with you, but the problem is, that both are way to loud. Some pilots, especially the 3D guys use to fly at their own music. This I can understand. Playing loud music all day long is something what I can't accept. Also many spectators complaining about, because they want to hear the sound of the engines. Florida is on my traveling book as well. Maybe next year, before I go to the Joe Nall Week. Btw. tbobborap1 is a very good friend of mine 😎 Take care of the hurricane coming across next days. _Cheers, Horst_
Yes, living in a mobile home makes me watch the skies more closely. But I've been in the same home for 31 years and it has held up rather well. I understand playing loud music ALL day is bad. The shows we have here only have moderate music as it also becomes a safety issue, especially if you are at a full size air show like Valiant Air Command's Tico air show. Where and when are you heading here? I live in Brooksville which is about 40 miles north of St. Pete. Thank you for your concern about the storm, and they are only going to get worse. Yes, Pete is a really nice guy as is his son , Deano. I would love to meet all you guys someday. If you see Pete, could you tell him Paul from Florida says Hi? Thank you and God Bless.
It doesn't matter what scale a "Christen Eagle" is. They all have that "Buzz". I have two old 1/3 Great Planes with two different gas engines and they both sound the same as do every one I've seen at the field(s) or in videos. What a hobby.
One of my dreams, Christen Eagle, I have one since long time ago. Was manufactured by Ok Model Pilot, from Japan, some of this days I will put together......

Dear Horst, this is the most impressive of RCSA ever. At moments I really didn't know whether this was full-size or scale models. Thanks indeed.
