Don’t worry sir. I grew up listening to these guys. I could name every riff dating all the way back to win Dave Evans & Bon Scott was in the band. Personally I don’t like him (Dave)either but I grew up loving these guys. My dad was a part of their road crew, but he passed away last year on Malcolm‘s birthday. Sadly, I never got to meet any of the band members. But I don’t know. I know you probably don’t believe me about my dad but he truly was. He loved it. When I was little he gave me one of the guitar picks the Angus uses a fender heavy pick? I still have it. I kept it on me as a good luck charm. When our house burnt down in South Carolina? Where I’m originally from? It was with me (as luck would have it) in my purse when we were at the restaurant when we got the call. I still have it to this day next to my red SG. By Epiphone. (I wish a Gibson but I still cherish it cuz it was the last thing dad ever got me).

@@potatosalad68 So funny! In all seriousness, as a guitarist, Sophie you're fantastic! You're a brilliant guitarist both in terms of skill and looks 🙂 Couple that with AC/DC and just wow!

I'm 60, picked up my son's guitar to try to learn something, God, its REALLY hard, I'm totally useless, just how do you remember the chords, the beat, the next note, the string to pluck and NOT touch the other strings. So now when I see someone playing I've got so much respect. I guess you need talent, and I've got none :-) Fair play girl, you're amazing!!
It takes a lot of practice. Learning guitar was 100 times harder than I thought it would be. Even when you know the cords you have to learn to strum and stay in time.
I've recently been obsessed with this song. My only neg here is, you can't hear one of THE great bass players who is part of one of THE greatest rhythm sections in music. Their timing in 'If you want blood..' is nigh on perfection.
I watched you for the very first time Sophie and was delightfully impressed! Rarely does anyone cover an entire song from start to finish! I was stunned how well you played this song and really enjoyed seeing you perform with the beginners guitar from Donner! Not only that you’re quite gorgeous too! 😍😍😍😍😍
Sophie, you just brought a continued smile and a warm happy feeling to an old ACDC fan throughtout this, will show my daughter this as an inspiration as she is just learning - power on \m/
You’re a very good guitar player I must say I’ve been playing 50 years you can probably outshine me i’m good but I’m getting old rock ‘n’ roll it’s for the young even though I’m still young at heart my body says otherwise Rock on
This was one of the first AC/DC songs that I loved playing on my SG. For hours after school, I'd spin Back in Black, both sides, before my parents came home. That was before You Tube and Sophie. Happy to see the next generation continue the Music! You Rock!
Love this song and your cover of it. When we hear you playing the lead, one really begins to appreciate the rhythm that Malcome laid down for Angus on this song.
As I recall, I think Angus gave Malcome a great deal of credit for powering and driving the band with his heavy grooves. His playing style is like a freight train.
Just stumbled on your video and was completely taken in. You're one of the best guitarists I've seen or heard play. I enjoyed listening to you and look forward to hearing more. Okay. I have never watched one of your videos before, but UA-cam recommended it and I have been playing this song for decades. My first impression was you were not pushing the chords enough during the chorus, but the incredible playing you did on the back half of the song was drop jaw awesome. I have never been able to play it correctly and you sounded just like the album and seemed to play it with ease. The guitar and set-up had that great AC/DC sound. Thank you for making my day and I hope to see more AC/DC covers. You have inspired me to learn to play better.

I'm always impressed and appreciative when someone from a generation born after the classic rock era, recognizes the greatness of those songs. My opinion, after the 80's, music generally turned to krap.
The beginner type of guitars are WAY better than twenty years ago, and the value/price is generally exceptional. Donner seems to be ahead of most in the genre, and they do hold tune nicely from my own findings. Some of the kits can be fun to build yourself.
