I was brought up in the Missouri Synod Lutheran church. My grandfather was a Lutheran pastor. When we lived in Connecticut we belonged to an ELCA Lutheran church. When they voted to allow homosexual pastors, we left the church. That church is now run by a lesbian who is “married” with 4 kids. Congregants were mad we left. We believe everyone can attend church, but not everyone can run the church. We went to the Catholic Church, and obviously that’s loaded with problems especially with their doctrine. We are now born again Christian’s and are members of an amazing church. We have grown so close to the Lord and actually have read our Bible. We love Jesus!! The Bible is the truth. I live in MN and all the churches locally to us are all proudly flying rainbow flags, we have to drive a half hour to get to the only biblical church near us. Thank God we found it though. It is already happening. It is well on its way. Our country mocks God and hates Him. It has for years now. Our country is simply recieving what it deserves. God will be with those of us who love Him, but we are no longer a majority. There are many christians who do not know God. There are many churches that do not know God. If Trump were to win, I don't think it will matter. This country as a whole has already chosen its course. Just focus your eyes on Jesus and do not get swept up by politics. Pray for our country and our leaders because God said that we should do that, but also have your eyes open to what our country is really all about these days.

A lot of them are not really even churches anymore. Instead they are glorified social clubs and government corporations where the pastors of them are really CEO's instead of genuine men of God.
I have long stopped going to these institutional churches because they don't follow the Word of God. Celebrating all the pagan holidays and coffee hour is nothing only talk of people's own vanity. We are in the time that God is separating the sheep from the goats.
We currently are unchurched but in the right church coffee hour is nice to get to know people and make friends. You would think for a believer the church would be the place to make friends but it's not where we live. Really sad state we are in.
I left the ELCA for the reasons you stated. I am still a Lutheran but a Missouri Synod Lutheran. We are VERY old school and hold to traditonal values. We don't do Woke and held services indoors and outdoors weather permitting. We are fortunate to live in Texas. I am glad I made that change.
I read my Bible but still have trouble quoting any scripture. But the one I remember the most is Acts: 16.31. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved, and thy house.

I am a Lutheran Christian. There are several very conservative Lutheran Synods (a group of like minded people.) They include the Missouri Synod LCMS , the Wisconsin Synod and the English Synod, the first to hold their services in English instead of German or one of the Scandinavian languages. Both my grandfathers were LCMS ministers. Allow me to explain how the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America came to be. In the 1970's a radical president of the Seminary in the Missouri Synod, who was questioning basic Christian doctrine was fired by the Synodical president. A group of young seminarians quit in protest and created what they called Seminex, standing for Seminary in Exile. People chose sides, it caused a schosm in the LCMS Synod and some churches also left. In my town they took one church out of the Synod by tabling the vote, holding endless speeches that went long into the night and counting as each known conservative person left, then they untabled the proposal, called the question, and voted to leave, once they knew they would win. The pastor who did this preached that Jesus didn't actually die or was resurrected, but was in a coma, something they call the swoon theory. That church now has had drag shows as fundraisers for trans surgeries. Eventually, because they could not financially sustain themselves, these churches joined with the Lutheran Church in America LCA and the American Lutheran Church ALC to form ELCA. When I eas a teenager, we stopped pulpit fellowship with the ALC and the LCA because of their position on abortion which was bad enough. I'm sure none of us ever imagined how crazy their doctrines would eventually become. Apparently because Jesus was loving, they think he is also permissive. Last year, I saw a video on Fox News about an ELCA church in Edina, Minnesota that had recited an LGBTQ version of the Apostles Creed. It is an abomination. I won't quote it here, but I'd encourage you to Google it. Once I saw that Timmie was a member of ELCA, I wondered if he was a member of that church. He wasn't, but his church has rewritten the opening sentence of the Lords Prayer. It goes like this: "Our guardian, our mother and father in heaven, hallowed be thy name."

I was brought up in the Missouri Synod Lutheran church. My grandfather was a Lutheran pastor. When we lived in Connecticut we belonged to an ELCA Lutheran church. When they voted to allow homosexual pastors, we left the church. That church is now run by a lesbian who is “married” with 4 kids. Congregants were mad we left. We believe everyone can attend church, but not everyone can run the church. We went to the Catholic Church, and obviously that’s loaded with problems especially with their doctrine. We are now born again Christian’s and are members of an amazing church. We have grown so close to the Lord and actually have read our Bible. We love Jesus!! The Bible is the truth. I have long stopped going to these institutional churches because they don't follow the Word of God. Celebrating all the pagan holidays and coffee hour is nothing only talk of people's own vanity.

I left the ELCA for the reasons you stated. I am still a Lutheran but a Missouri Synod Lutheran. We are VERY old school and hold to traditonal values. We don't do Woke and held services indoors and outdoors weather permitting. We are fortunate to live in Texas. I am glad I made that change.

I read my Bible but still have trouble quoting any scripture. But the one I remember the most is Acts: 16.31. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved, and thy house.
One of my favorites, I’m praying my whole house will believe and be saved, waiting on 3 sons and a husband to do so, I know with God all things are possible ❤

I am embarrassed to say that I live in Minnesota. Thank you for getting the word out about Tampon Timmy. I did not vote for this guy so I didn’t know anything about him. I live in the more rural part of southeastern Minnesota, that for the most part is not participating in the “Woke” insanity.
We lived in northern Minnesota until 5 years ago. So sad to see what "Timmy" and his administration has done to the state. Praying he doesn't have opportunity to destroy the country.
Our church was open. If you want a mask and not sit with people you could sit one side and if you didn’t care you could sit on the other side! We trust God!

We must pray. This is the only way for people to see what is right before their eyes. God gives discernment, without Him we can do nothing.
We were created by God. We are not all Gods children. You are a child of the God you serve.
The only ones who are children of God are those who believed on Christ and accepted Him as their Savior.

I thank God for my mom. Teaching me while going to a southern Baptist church 3x a week. She took 4 of us. I lost her recently and I will never be really happy without her.

I was raised Catholic. I left the church decades ago. Churches are corrupt. I’m not religious. I’m spiritual. There is a difference!

When l was a kid in early 60s my parents had their hands full with my two brothers and l walked to Sunday School (and regular school) by myself. Went to SS and walked home. Can you even imagine letting a little kid do that nowdays!

This country is beyond exhausting at this point. Seriously considering moving to a smaller country and doing ministry work or something. So ready to resolve my us citizenship this country is rotten to the core and so corrupted.
Perhaps the rottenness and the corruption is the reason why you should stay and do your ministry work, or something else, here in the US? Take a look at the story of Jonah. Ask God to show you who He wants you to talk to and/or pray for. He will. Jesus came for the sick not the healthy. God bless you.

ELCA - oh no!
I am a Lutheran Christian. There are several very conservative Lutheran Synods (a group of like minded people.) They include the Missouri Synod LCMS , the Wisconsin Synod and the English Synod, the first to hold their services in English instead of German or one of the Scandinavian languages. Both my grandfathers were LCMS ministers.
Allow me to explain how the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America came to be. In the 1970's a radical president of the Seminary in the Missouri Synod, who was questioning basic Christian doctrine was fired by the Synodical president. A group of young seminarians quit in protest and created what they called Seminex, standing for Seminary in Exile. People chose sides, it caused a schosm in the LCMS Synod and some churches also left.
In my town they took one church out of the Synod by tabling the vote, holding endless speeches that went long into the night and counting as each known conservative person left, then they untabled the proposal, called the question, and voted to leave, once they knew they would win. The pastor who did this preached that Jesus didn't actually die or was resurrected, but was in a coma, something they call the swoon theory. That church now has had drag shows as fundraisers for trans surgeries.
Eventually, because they could not financially sustain themselves, these churches joined with the Lutheran Church in America LCA and the American Lutheran Church ALC to form ELCA. When I eas a teenager, we stopped pulpit fellowship with the ALC and the LCA because of their position on abortion which was bad enough. I'm sure none of us ever imagined how crazy their doctrines would eventually become. Apparently because Jesus was loving, they think he is also permissive.
Last year, I saw a video on Fox News about an ELCA church in Edina, Minnesota that had recited an LGBTQ version of the Apostles Creed. It is an abomination. I won't quote it here, but I'd encourage you to Google it.
Once I saw that Timmie was a member of ELCA, I wondered if he was a member of that church. He wasn't, but his church has rewritten the opening sentence of the Lords Prayer. It goes like this:
"Our guardian, our mother and father in heaven, hallowed be thy name."
I believe we are so close for: OUR KING COMES FOR THE CHURCH‼️ SO PEOPLE GET READY JESUS IS COMING SOON TO TAKE US HOME ♥️🙌🏼♥️🙌🏼♥️

Hi, thank you so much for shedding a light on what they are hiding. The Holy Spirit let me know there was something wrong with this "Christan person" it was somewhat strange to see someone who professes to be a "Christian" to be so happy to join with people who are agains God. I also love the tittle of this video. Please keep us informed of the so called "Christan" churches that are defiant to God. There are a lot of people that are seriously looking for God and unfortunately are being deceived with these demonic doctrines.
With each month that passes in this world today I am feeling more and more alien to this carnal global society. The state of our world should grieve us all. Come Lord Jesus, come 🙏
