the similarities to danganronpa were so spot on-the pacing, the insults, the facial expressions, the body language. (also that ace attorney cameo though!!) even the pixel transition to the execution felt the same and the stop motion execution had the same pace as those of the executions in the game!! honestly has to be one of my new fav animation videos of all time

That execution was brutal! Even compared to the even compared to the ones from the games.
SO many things I love about this:
1) the different perspectives -> even the 2d art looked 3d (esp Daidus' hands)
2) voice acting! the panic is real lol
3) the fluidity of the stop motion AHHHH, the tentacles were spot-on

the whole production was so well done, but also, the sound effects really made the stop motion scene
this. this is what I needed. also the danganronpa art style caught me off guard😃 edit: ‘Daidus has always wanted to play the villain role, and this, was finally his chance’ And then when Daidus goes on to do that...his laugh turned him into Light Yagami🌚

Didn't expect that brutality at the judgement scene. Pretty similar to danganronpa i have to say in all aspects. Props to you for this video and it was well worth the wait.
After the reveal at 4:40 my immediate reaction was to skip back to 4:11 "where's your hat, Daidus? WHERE IS IT?"

Ah so this is how chaotic the game would be if there was no investigation period.
The amount of effort put in to this video was staggering! The detailed art and unique poses, the stop motion execution, the general pacing of the story; this is truly top notch content!
Me during the trial when Daidus said that it was just a coincidence i was like "This lad is giving me Nagito vibes", and when Connor made things clear and Daidus started laughing,he definitetly wanted to be Nagito in the trial
Daidus was collecting the hope fragments and got Sens undergarments.
Should've used those FTE's on fat guy, you can discover that he's such a deep character when you spend time with him

When it said that Daidus was gonna embrace being the villain, I knew we were gonna get one of his surprisingly good evil laughs like in that “drawing characters and voicing them” vid w/ Connor and Emily. Awesome!
Well we learned one thing, Daidus makes a pretty cool villain voice actor.
This deserves way more views just for the techniques used, not to mention the gold narrative and voice acting 🤌

@@ewglibberr24 the reason why I stated they are better is because most people who replicate the style usually try to make them on par with the OG graphics. Thus video is the only one I've seen try to surpas it. Also, what does it being a video game have to do with anything? Video games look good and nowadays, it's difficult to replicate their graphics (though this doesn't apply apply Dananronpa as much as it is in 2.5d)

The trial is pretty funny and also when you get 5 friendship fragments with any character you get their undergarments (exactly how it's said in the game)
