This is officially the greatest “live” performance I’ve ever seen. And this proves to me that time travel is possible. Because although I was only watching this in my bedroom, this performance spoke to my soul and made me feel like I was actually there. Crazy.

No. These back up singers were called the I Threes: Rita Marley, Judy Mowatt and Marcia Griffiths. They joined Bob when the original Wailers, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer broke up.

Tragically, he was shot & killed in his own yard by his wife's lover in 1987 at age 36, the same age at which Marley left the world.

Bob Marley was great. He was singing with his hart and soul to defend africans and Africa.
If I get this amount of electricity going down my spine only by watching it, I think I would literally be in heaven if there in person.
Unfortunately for us he was 10 times cooler than all of his sons combined, the man knew how to transmit that fire, show passion and connect with the people. This is musical perfection.
