    Hello Renée
I found your channel a few days ago through the Canuary event.
I'm hooked! I've been binge watching ever since. I love everything about your channel and what you do. I'm 62, an avid cook/baker/canner and I learn something from you with every video. I cant wait to try the cinnamon pull apart bread. Holy Cow! It looks amazing!!!
I could sit here all day, many days actually, and just catch up with all of your videos. I'm your neighbor to the south, Ohio. We have enough lousy, cold, winter days that I could justify doing it. I look forward to everyone I start.
You are delightful! I enjoy several homestead channels. You are, by far, the most genuine person I watch. Pretense shows and you aren't pretentious in the least. I so appreciate that. I wish we were neighbors. I watched you fry chicken and potato wedges outside and thought the other people there were truly blessed.
I could sing your praises for a while. Like with your videos I'll spread my comments out.
I loved seeing your home and gardens. The siding looks amazing! You have a new friend, indeed! Here's wishing you all the best.

Jaws…that’s a movie I can’t start without finishing! I list it in my top 5😊. I’m old, and my husband and I were dating when it came out. The girls behind us were screaming so much, we ended up laughing through the whole thing😅. Ohio here, too.

Received your pastel colored cook book yesterday in mailbox. Don't know if you got my previous comment, but gifting it to my Boss for that Parka (man, it's like a space suit) she gave me of her Dad's. You wear this thing at Fifteen below and winds, you feel like you are inside! I was just overwhelmed by her gift. She will knock your book, she's the type really country type person. I'm a 'City-it', a term I heard recently. Not even sure, if I belong here. And she can share it with her sister, who's also into a lot of homestead things. Anyway, getting windy. Pray it's a blessing. Just have to buy a nice thank you card with a message
    about being grateful.

We make swedish scallop potatoes, doing the same way minus the sausage and instead of making the sauce, you pour 1 liter of heavy whipping cream on the top and bake UNCOVERD until bubbly golden brown, ( 400* for about 1 - 1/2 hr) they are the most requested Potato dish by friends and family, nice and creamy, and no fuss with making sauce, they thicken up nicely from the starch of the Potato!

These all look so yummy, especially the Twice Baked Potatoes! One time after a big family dinner I wanted to come up with a new way to use leftover mashed potatoes. I heated the potatoes to make them easier to work with. Using a muffin pan sprayed well with non-stick spray I filled about 1/3 full with a dip in the middle. I put a small turkey meatball ( any lean meat would work) & a pinch of shredded cheese in the middle seasoning as desired. I encased by adding more potatoes rounding the tops. Bake at 350 for 20 mins, turning up to 450 for an additional 5-10 mins until browned. They come out so crisp on the outside, soft & full of flavor inside and being individual servings are perfect for a change! I call them Potato Puffs.

I love 'twice baked potatoes'! Mom made them all the time when I was growing up (I will be 76 years old, February 7) and she called them POTATO BOATS. I still think of them as potato boats. We ate them as a 'snack' type food and held it in our hands to eat...no fork or spoon.

I also made your bread. I attempted making bread many years ago. I was so proud and loved the fresh bread smell. Our friend whose family owned a local bakery. Dan was known for his bread, asked me, "What is that?" I said bread! He insisted on taking my loaf. It was the size of a red brick and weighted as much. I later found out he sprayed it with shellac and gave it to his dad as a "doorstop"!!! I am excited to say my bread from your recipe turned out beautiful. Looks like bread and tastes like bread...and will not be used as a doorstop. Theresa

I have never seen scalloped potatoes made with GRAVY but I am certain it would be delicious.
When I make mine, I butter the casserole dish, add a layer of potatoes, layer of onions, a few slices of Velvetta cheese, sprinkle with flour and a few slices of butter and add salt and pepper to taste on each layer and continue layering in the same order until dish is full. Then I pour 1 cup of milk over the food and cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes and then remove the foil, stir contents if necessary and place back into oven to bake another 15 minutes or so, until all potatoes are soft and browned. (400 degrees)
