Top has Chrysler logo on it so I’m pretty sure it’s original but it’s 20 years old who knows what other owners have done with it. The new part could also be manufactured poorly since it was falling apart before I opened it lol. I’m not gonna take the left vent out because it sits good and I’m not gonna mess with it. If you need the part number a simple google search will give you the part number but I’ll be a nice guy and send it to you this time lol 55036306 is the passenger vent 55036307 is the drivers side
@@SmokinMonkeyOG dont know what year my hardtop is but it doesn't have vents, I got it after I hot the jeep, it's coming off soon I run a soft top all summer
I think only certain years of TJs have the vents. But be careful I’ve heard the window seals on the back windows can pop when you close the door if there’s too much air pressure. That’s why they added the vents. As for the soft top I would pick one up if I can find somewhere to store the hardtop. No room unfortunately
A person would have to be a complete douche to complain about the gray tape on the vent. Looks good and another nice repair. Looking forward to the trail video. SemperFi

can you take the left vent out see if there is a part number on it, ? also are you sure that is a factory top ? that isnt the right part for sure

You should have tried to get a parts hard top! Probably would have been about the same price
I looked around but couldn’t find anything cheap enough everyone wants too much for theirs.
$150! Bucks for a freaking vent smh junkyard or pick up parts got them
