it's not a bug. it's just designed that way. a bug would be code that executes in an unintended manner or produces a defective result. this is not something that will be "fixed" (as the code executes properly) but rather something that will be "changed".
@@wurstkonig3621 how on earth could you know that it's designed that exp granted before day transition is not a bug? seems pretty obvious to me that exp should be granted when the next hour (including day) is reached not before.

I think that *because* of the way feather, for example, is calculated, the way the developers coded it, it feels like some inside knowledge thing that you wouldn't even think of unless you watch pros all day. This is an excellent description of why you would pick a seemingly bad (although balanced) item. I think you should do more of these little insight videos.
The first benefit with the feather is similar to the Belt where a permanent % increase can be boosted by an item's temporary buff aura. The second part where the levelup delays the day starting to negate an item's downside text seems more like an exploit though.

If we got a 1 sec cooldown item, lets say atomic clock, Then we put kneebrace on our board, raising its cooldown to 2 We use our hypothetical 50% reduction feather, and reduce cooldown by 1 second, Now when we remove kneebrace, is cooldown at 0 seconds? How does this interact, can cd go negative?
@Kripparrian I would love to see an explainer into the economy of the three different heroes. We know Pyg comes out on top but I often see your Vanessa econ pretty strong too (e.g. Cove / Ambergris / Shovel). Dooley certainly seems the worst of the 3. It would be good to get your take on which economy items are worth it for the different heroes e.g. I haven't figured out the expected return from Schematics for Dooley just yet and if it's worth picking up if you don't have a weapon core.
Does the cooldown even actually work if your feathers provide less than 10%? Cause then it would just be 0.0x seconds, so how does the game treat those numbers?

I have not gotten enough feathers yet, or slow enough items to see if it makes a difference: If an item goes from 1.6 to 1.595, where does the game use it, 1,6? 1.5? 1,595? if it doesnt use second decimals onwards, you might need alot of feathers before it makes any difference. Does any1 know the mechanics for this?
cooldons aretracked to 7 decimal places and round to the nearest tenth. Knee brace makes more of an impact on shorter cd itemsthen longer cd items. for example if you're selling like a diamond feather on an item with a 2s cd, the differnce is like 1.7 vs 1.6. or like 7% more speed then without the brace.

@@illourr nah, it's kinda intuitive when you get a good grasp of turns in this game. There's a lot of things that can be used with these timings. Actually, I think that's one of the "skill based" mechanics in this game and I like it
Increasing the cooldown and getting max HP without the downside seem like obvious bugs. Sadly, once they are fixed Knee Brace is unplayable again. +1 cool down is so brutal and it only get's worse with a bigger carpet and faster fight. I'm all for these bug fixes. But man do I hope they buff knee brace. It's such a cool item and it's just so crazy weak
This seems like an annoying busywork kind of optimization that makes the game worse to play. I wish the maths was clearer, and that "base" and "temp" health, CD and cetera were clearly separate things so that things could be more consistent. I just realized that using stuff like Silencer makes Feathers worse. How is that intended behavior??? This doesn't need to be patched, this really needs a whole fundamental overhaul of the maths.
regardless of intentional or not, these kinds of "bugs" are what make the game interesting and increase skill expression. when u have knee brace, ur often deciding between whether to level up before the fight, and be stronger for it, or level up after the fight and get free +100
Man just get to high ranks and try and win without using some of the broken bullshit. And waste your free ticket and not get any chests or gems to redo ranked. Free 7-10 wins using pufferfish and Jellyfish or crit items and daggers with weapon damage with internal cooldown bug, get enough gems to keep playing ranked and get skins etc.
He said in his streams he will play Hearthstone BG when they release a "Patch with actual content" so he will proabably play Bazaar for a while. good luck with your search for new entertainment

Knee brace works really well with wanted poster because you'll be more likely to level up after winning the end of day pvp.

Bigger number = bigger percentage number.
It feels unintended because most people suck at math.
Hopefully it's intended, brings more skill to the game

Interesting item. Other items work that way too, such as slotting an item to buff after leveling.

its clearly designed to deal with a disadvantage in the pvp fight and circumventing that is neither intuitive nor intended.
