I've used your videos to service the mokka we have, very easy to follow & understand,i am very mechanically minded so found it easy, but even people who are nervous about carrying out this service & other work shouldn't be after watching your videos.very clear & informative. Massive help.£73 for parts & 2 hours of my time.bargain.
I finally got the sump plug to undo the garage must have way over tightened it last time and then I've had a nightmare with the oil filter housing I couldn't do it before draining so I thought I'll come back to that after and then it was also on too tight as now I've snapped the oil filter housing so another £30 down the drain and now to try remove the remains of the housing I'll do that when the new housing arrives
Good work Andy, excellent as ever. Brilliant how to that will save lots of people money by giving them knowledge. 🙂 Bit of honest feedback. The music detracted from your talk through. Just my opinion mind, some folk might like it.
Cheers Wilf! Ye to be honest I don’t know what is best for these vids 🤷🏻♂️ some people don’t like the subtitles, some want music, some don’t etc. I just try to do a mix but maybe I could turn the background music down a bit more?
@@AMSVauxhall Your own dulcet tones are just fine Andy, keep the videos coming! Even if I don't own the car featured it gives me motivation to get on with the car jobs I've been hiding from!
The music is great, it made me feel more at ease about tackling this. From someone that finds music for TV programmes, you did well; VO is clear too. I used to do my old Corsa in the early 00's and just assumed this was ten times harder when it isn't really.
Looks nice and easy that one. I don't miss the chocolate torx sump plug on the newer Vauxhalls though. I was getting a bit nervous when you reached maximum tractive effort on the ratchet! That horrible feeling where it starts to move slowly instead of the plug cracking off. Been there 🙈
Hi great video and very informative, I have the same year mokka but it's a diesel would it be the same filter still and same process? Im guessing it doesn't make a difference , thanks for your help and great videos 👍
@@heavythinkerproductions thanks for the comment buddy! ☺️ similar process buddy but I’m sure I have a video for a 1.7 diesel if you search through my channel Andy👨🏼🔧
No consumable filter to replace on these. There is a gauze filter at the bottom of the fuel pump in the tank but unless you are super anal it is usually left and only replaced when / if you have fuel pump failure and replacing the fuel pump with new gauze filter. Andy 👨🏼🔧

Haha I know what you mean but I’ve never really had any issues with them. I would prefer it if they were a normal hex though.

Hi
Does petrol mokka has fuel filter and where is it located
Its in the gas tank. Not meant to be replaced.
No consumable filter to replace on these. There is a gauze filter at the bottom of the fuel pump in the tank but unless you are super anal it is usually left and only replaced when / if you have fuel pump failure and replacing the fuel pump with new gauze filter.

Are these a16xer engines good?
As with most things in life, they are only as good as you look after them. Easily maintained and simple / cheap to service
Andy
@@AMSVauxhallcorrect. I bought a 1.6 Mokka petrol 6 months ago. Changing oil every 5.000km.
I prefer just the commentary without the music overlay 👍
Thanks for the feedback Leonard! 😁

It stated 24nm not 14nm
@@Jamie-Evo it does look like a 2 but it is indeed 14NM.

Good video, one question, is the filter found in the same location on a 2016 1.4?
It’s in the same area yes
