Episode suggestion: Sir Handel and Peter Sam suffer a serious collision, and both are sent to the works to receive overhauls. Thus the 2008 versions of them are retired, and the 2012 versions are introduced!

Great video! Love seeing the classic destinations, the unusual 2017 engines, and especially the pamphlet with the prototype Thomas and his Friends Help Out DVD!
Personally I would replace Sir Handel, Peter Sam, and even Rheneas with the TOMY versions, but of course that’s up to you. I love the amount of detail on them and it’s the level of detail I strive for on my WR concepts.
Anyways, enough rambling. Great video as always!

I think you should use the 2012 Rheneas. It looks better than the Mattel version. He will also fit in perfectly with the other CGI narrow gauge engines.

I think the 2017 Timothy is what people wanted when they saw the original 2014 prototype Timothy. They liked the wood on it but were disappointed with the plastic side plates.
Well we got questions to ask to the people who like the 2017 version.

Rhineas was re-painted yellow at the end of the movie as a joke about the mysterious yellow engine who ended up just being Victor. Also use old Peter Sam
I’d say to go with the 2012 Peter Sam. It’s an amazing wooden railway model. Also, great unboxing videos. They’re great for when I wanna watch UA-cam, but nothing is new or exciting to me. And these videos give me an hour or two of enjoyment, so thank you!
I think the 2017 Timothy could pass as a Thomas Wood Timothy.
Good point. If they were to ever release Timothy in the Wood range, he would definitely not have plastic sideplates.

Great review Keekre! I personally suggest that you switch to the Tomy Peter Sam, Sir Handel, & Rheneas, because Tomy may have had terrible faces for the Steam Team, but like you said, they knocked it out of the park with the Narrow Gauge Engines, especially in terms of details, I hope you like my vote :)
I really like the BRIO engine’s working side rods. If only all wooden trains had them.

I think the face on the Rheneas with the Rock Crusher cars is the result of Rheneas having Sir Handel's face in the nameboard scenes between episodes.
The sides of Timothy's WR cab reminds me of the windows on the Blue's Clues house.
Me too because Blue’s Clues is a good show and has a reboot that isn’t actually a bad reboot.
You probably won't notice this comment, but if you do I would like to point out that the livery that Rheneas is painted in the show is a vermilion coat of paint, which is a type of red.

I think that you should switch to the 2012 Peter Sam for the CGI style models but its up to you.
This is awsome Thomaswoodenrailway I loved everything excpect for Ferdinand but the ending was the best part but you forgot tomy Skarloey in the ending. And my favorites are tomy Rhenas, Peter Sam witch you should use and Timothy witch I think it it a prototype in my opinion. But it's nice to see all these cool items that you pick up on your travles.
You can tell how long a piece of track is by counting the railway ties.

57:20 I've seen something like that on the back of a diecast Disney Cars box where a police car covered another race car. I've al;so seen this on the 1st edition Take n Play Talking Flynn at target where "Roll Flynn along" covers up "Roll Flynn to hear revving sound" (which the toy doesn't do)

Honestly I don’t think Ferdinand is so bad of a character, I love his design. Also I heard that there is going to be a Bachmann HO scale model of Beau for next year. It’s going to be his first actually piece of merchandise.
2013 Diesel 10’s face kinda reminds me of a cat!
Let me tell you, the original Diesel 10 from T&TMR’s face looks WAY better than the Tony and Mattel faces, he looks more grumpy and accurate to the show.
46:49 I actually had that pack in my collection! I got him for Christmas or my Birthday one year, to be quite frank, I thought the version of Rheneas that came with it was a little weird...

Sir, you are an inspiration to me, since childhood you, and Leokimvideo, have been the only two youtubers I watched, then I started watching other members of this wonderful (minus the confusion and delay lol) I’ve recently started getting serious with this whole, collecting thing (and I regret drawing buffers and whistles on my rare stuff) but I’m building back, so thank you.
I love these so much. They're so relaxing (because what else is more nostalgic than opening old Wooden Railway items?) yet really interesting. You do such an awesome job with these; It's really hard imo to talk Thomas for an hour and a half but you do great. I especially liked seeing the Echo Tunnel and the Tomy Rheneas. Always love seeing these, keep up the great work!

I'm guessing the white wheel color of Rheneas is supposed to be the quarry dust on the wheels. I mean thats what I thought this whole time when I first saw him online. Since when engines work in the quarry they are covered in quarry dust. So the wheels kinda fit in. But it would be nice if they were gray wheels and rheneas covered in quary dust. That would be more realistic.
CGI Peter Sam is more eye catching and better detailed with an awesome face, so I think you should use TOMY Peter Sam
Do you glue the two pieces of the crossing together? I do.
You could probably just unscrew the Brio tender and reverse it so it faces the right way.

It's very similar to the 2017 version.
On the 2nd version of the Mattel, TWR Diesel 10, pieces on him that sick out from his cab are shorter and, I think his color is lighter and he has molded windows on the front and back of him, but they aren't painted.

Just for anyone who is confuses what the gold couplings are for. There uses to be a Wooden railway series called "A talking railway". Where an engine that has the gold coupling can actually tigger something and makes a sound. There is a set involving great watertons station and it includes thomas. As thomas goes past the station his coupling triggers something in the station and makes a sound. How do I know this? Well I own a Talking railway Toby but sadly not a set. Also for proof. Toytrains4u made a video about the great waterton talking railway set

International Diesel looks like Russian and Greek. The warning text has it all though. Looks like French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Czech, Polish, Russian, Greek, and Arabic. I may be wrong on one or two though! Very cool find.
