What do you think it means to worship with authenticity?
No fear, being comfortable with being real with God (no matter who is around, or the pressure from the outside)!
I think authentic worship is when I worship and praise God for who He is, even when it hurts, when life is not going the way I want, in surrender to God. It is easy to praise God when all is well, but in the darkest trials, for me this is so powerful.
I am a photographer and a worshipper as well and I can tell you this is how I worship with photography, I ask God, “What do you want us to see”, I take pictures.
I love so much what she said about how you see people and how you have compassion on them and want to help them experience what you experience. 🎉

It's so funny, I remember many many years ago as a teenager going to monthly youth meetings at a nearby church. And I'd be there, arms raised, singing out loud....with absolutely zero concept of who God was, what He'd done for me, or why I was singing what I was singing. And I remember this ENORMOUS banner stretched above the stage which said "Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth", and I got quite convicted by that, as a 14 year old just going through the motions. Don't get me wrong - the words I was singing were completely true, (written by songwriters who HAD had those revelations). But it made me realise there was another depth to worship which was more than just.... karaoke. And to me that's where that authenticity lies: in being able to sing about how amazing God is, but being able to sing it from a place of really knowing it.
Man!! Rita Springer!! It was 2010 and I was playing "Worth it all" on repeat...was definitely one the musical provisions the Lord gave to me in a prolonged season of waiting until fulfilment. Great to see this interview of TY Bello. "Burning with Holy Ghost" brought me here. Jesus is Lord!!

I love the way Ty looks that beautiful skin and hair and gorgeous contrast of the shocking pink and bright green glasses - so lively and bright - whimsical. I love the big hair like a puffy cloud. Ty Bell is has such a magnificent spirit, she is so lovely. I just now for the first time listened to Ty Bell's worship music and I feel I have found my tribe - I love the passion, the joy,, the spirit, and the unique beat and meloday - so joyful. - Pure joy. Yes Authentic.

TY Bello and these other people have had a huge impact on my relationship with God and I thank God for putting them in my path of destiny these last 2 years.
