Masterhong hac the advantage he just messed up in the beggining with the night witch. You can never play all of your ground cards in single elixir time like that. Xbowmaster took advantage of that and got the tower to 900 hp. From there he just played if almost perfectly. I play golem a lot you can definitively get trough an infero tower just like masterhong did in double elixir time. 1 mistake cost him the match.

They need someone to make the cycle vs cycle matches exciting. Since the commentators dont know its just about cycling spells and, if miner, predicting those miners, it makes it more exciting

master hong didnt change his deck and abuse the use of golem deck. it is a no brainer for xbowmaster to include an inferno tower in his deck, the golem will have a hard time penetrating the tower against the inferno tower. the reason why the first two korean player loses to master honf is bcoz they dont have any answer to the golem. that is why good players need to change deck in every game and keep the opponent guessing what deck u will use
You're calling master hong a bad player? Bet he's better than you.
Also players have to use reverse psychology to keep other people guessing their deck. What if the predictable move was to change their deck? Then it would be intuitive to keep the same deck. It's literally chance at that point as to whether or not he gets hardcountered, as xbowmaster could have tried to predict another deck. It's not that hong was a bad player. Xbowmaster just guessed correctly by hardcountering the golem, as hong could have changed the deck by using double reverse psychology.
I didn't say master hong was a bad player. I am only saying in this level of competition, you cannot use the same deck three times in a row. Opponent can see it coming.
