I have a few purchased shells, but it’s the ones that I found myself that I love the most It really amazes me that after many years I still remember where I found them . What a dream collection!!!!!!
It must feel amazing to be surrounded by such a grand and amazing collection of shells ! Thank you for taking us with you to see your treasured shells. Shells are so captivating and mysterious to me. Facinating collection !
Wow, awesome collection. I love shells and and would love to work on having an enormous collection like that--but I have no room for it. Thank you for sharing. You are so blessed.
This was awesome - love seeing your specimens and hearing the stories behind them 😊 When you got shells sent from Florida, did they have to go through quarantine? Or can they just come through the post normally? Thanks
@@Shellcade Um... think you answered someone else's question - I didn't ask about mystery boxes! I'm trying to find out if in Aus we can buy from OS dealers and have the shells posted to us? Really keen to know... ta
carefully use a dremel tool to remove the outer striped layer until the is nothing but the shiny pearl-like layer. after that process use a polish of some kind like gel coat buffing tool or just rub on soft fabric for a long while. a warning to not use varnish of any kind as it will ruin the look of the nautilus.

How to polish the nautilus shell? 🥹🙏
