What is this word meaning 还?
Straight up best Mandarin teacher on UA-cam for middle level. Excellent , informative lesson!
Xie xie nin, bai fu mei
cannot use " bu neng +verb " ? instead? (wo bu neng kanjian )
nop
I think that Chinese negates the result, rather than the action. And that makes sense. Because 他不能看 means "he cannot look". But that is not what we want to say. We want to say: "he looks, but cannot see". And that is 他看不见.
🙏🍎🍊🍉🍑🌹💐🥰 非常感谢妳,可爱的老师。❤❤❤🌺💐🌹🙏
Great job
😃glad you think so
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16 God bless everyone here. Jesus loves you and died for you on the cross. He did this to wash away the burden of sins, and if you open your heart to Him, He can take away the burden of your sins and give you a peace incomparable to anything in this world. ✝✝🙏
Gracias preciosa
Noooooooo, not again! 着, why are you zháo now, why can't you just stay zhe, you described continues action, but couldn't stay continuously...😔
I think 着has different meanings and pronunciation, in for example 着急 zhao1ji2(to be worried) it is zhao, but like a particle it's zhe
I am sorry ,I understand the frustration but to be honest, your comment make me laugh, you have good sense of humor ,and I can see you have a deep understanding of Chinese already. yes 着has more than one pronunciation and more meanings , functions. JIA YOU !
@@yiminchinese Humor was the main idea. Yes , this additional hardness of Chinese learning was pretty painful , when I met it first time with 行 xing/hang. But it's like sunrise, you can't change it, just should to live with it.🙂
thank you yimin
Love you so much ♥
Thank you my favorite Chinese teacher. Your insight in whatever points the learners need cannot be matched. The pace is just perfect and your English typically Chinese accent does what it takes to love Putong hwa without distraction.
your comment makes me so happy ☺️ xie xie
interesting. that the are different potential complements for different verbs. all the languages i know have only one. now, i need to understand what the complements mean, by themselves. there are a few examples from english that work like this. " i cannot FALL asleep" is something like "i cannot sleep fall" so "fall" goes with sleep, like some kind of specific potential complement.
'kan bu jian' works like"look no see", i think. look is the action of scanning with your eyes, see is the action of perceiving it. good, good. in one south indian language that i know, the transitive 'look, see' is different from an intransitive 'be seen' verb......
Mandy thanks for this helpfull lesson. It ould be Great to know how to say: I couldn,t find it.
funny. for I can not sleep, there was a different translation, on google. but can't sleep gave this same one. zhao by itself means 'with'. cannot eat makes sense . wan is finish. so, 'i cannot eat up'.
teacher pls hobby vocabuary video

Even your choice of car is awesome. That's a Pontiac GTO. Nice!! 😎
aiyo ...tai hao le wo de laoshi😘 I really enjoyed it...tai xie xie ni le❤️
😋so happy to hear so
of course, 'see' can mean 'look for' in english. it can also mean 'be in sight'. 'I will see where my keys are' vs ' i see my keys here'

Hello thanks for writing, here is the link of my site, you can choose the items according to your Chinese level and your needs www.etsy.com/shop/YiminChinese
Amazing teacher! Love China!
Thank you😋
Laoshi, can you explain the difference between 我听不懂 instead of 我不明白? 谢谢你!
I think that 我听不懂 can only be used if you didn't understand what you heard. But 我不明白 has a much broader meaning. For example:
"我不明白他为什么这么做"
"I don't understand why he did that"
@@mountaintag Oh thank you, that makes sense!
great explanation 👍
