- RimWorld's Hardest Difficulty bumped up to 500%, without using pause, and only being allowed to have a single RimWorld Biotech Mechanitor pawn!
This No Pause RimWorld playthrough is played against Randy Random, on Losing is Fun difficulty bumped up to 500% (the maximum). The gameplay takes place on a Desert map. Adam is not allowed to have additional colonists!

This playthrough was recorded LIVE on Twitch. As such, I am speaking with chat throughout (even though this is edited). Videos without chat will be listed as 'UA-cam Exclusive'.
*No Pause - I am using a mod that disables pause in every portion of the game. This means it is impossible for me to pause with a key press and the game will not pause during events or trade, making things much more difficult.
** Losing is Fun set to +500% is the hardest difficulty in unmodded RimWorld

Watching all this edited down, I was surprised to hear at the end that this took 19 years! Almost another 20-year run.
I really liked this series, the amount of cheese you used and how overpowered you got with one single pawn, and also even as OP as you got, one single mistake could cost you the entire run.
Even though it was anti-climatic it was cool to see a lot of the strategies you use be effective and see how insanely strong and OP you can make one pawn. Looking forward to the next.

Huh, I see what you mean with it being underwhelming. It wouldn't have been hard to have a random colony of worshipers at the Core, like with the sacred Terminal quest. Maybe they're all effectively on GoJuice due to the power of the machine god, or something like that. I hope they'll consider revisiting that ending someday. Regardless, excellent work as usual Adam. I was a bit sad the heavy mechs didn't get a chance to be shown off, but I understand it just wouldn't have been worth the trouble. I hope they'll consider revisiting them as well haha. Looking forward to your next project!

Lol yeah that ending is what, I like being able to reset my colony but the actual last part is terrible. It says there'll be mechanoids but when I went there were like...6 or something. And that's with Vanilla Expanded Mechanoids adding in stronger ones, they had even upgraded. Took my pawns maybe 20 seconds to wipe them out and then that was it.
I really hope they rework it some day, imagine how cool it would be if the pawns you abandoned form their own faction and come to attack you at the end or something? Obviously you could cheese it by only ever having 5 pawns but say you didn't and you gave everyone bionics, suddenly your enemies show up with bionics and high level gear to try take you down. Could be really cool.
Great run, shame about the ending! If you could play after the ending it would be cool to then launch a ship and hear the music. Thanks again for these edited runs! Hope you can keep doing them!
This game ending definitely could be fleshed out more, but as always, great series Adam and Editor!
I had the center wastepack infestation in my non-polluted, very large colony recently and I had no idea how that happened. Mystery solved.

Another epic series comes to an end. If only the ending was as exciting as the rest but we can't have everything I suppose ;) Not every ending can be like the speedrun ship launch haha.

I was wondering if you have considered a "Mouse only" type of run. I'm pretty sure you can do everything via mouse, and keyboard is just for quickbinds to do things faster. Might be an interesting challenge for someone who has done all kinds of things in this game and trying to make the game more challenging in unique ways. Love the videos and energy you bring, keep doing what you do. :)
Great run, wish the boss mechs would be worth it in 500%, if only they could scale with difficulty or something, I'm sure there's lots of interesting strats and potential cheese that could be discovered, gg

Adam - I’ve had an idea for a Rimworld series for you…
Starting pawn is named Noah - he’s a specialist in Animals and adopts the rancher meme;
Win condition is for the colony to own 2 of every Rimworld animal (1 male, 1 female) - if you can get a couple to space as well, fair play 😂 !
I believe there’s 62 different animals in the vanilla game.

The one thing i have for Archonexus is that it's the only one that I can complete on losing is fun or higher. Raids are just insane on Royal or Ship launch.

Love ur videos, can u guide me how to deal with sapper or breacher. As far as i know, they usually avoid areas within gun turret range. So is it worth to use a kill box without turret so they always come in there?

I seem to be in the minority of people who actually enjoy the Archonexus ending. Or at least the buildup to it.
All the others are just "get a ship, defend it for X days", but this one is different.
We had to wait all the way to Anomaly to get anything that wasn't just the same ending over and over.
I feel like you should have to bring something that is super valuable to the arch-nexus instead of just walking up and pushing a button... Like you have to sacrifice multiple pawns and items to the machine that are super rare like a pawn with 20's in certain skills, legendary items, architect items, etc. MORE THAN JUST BUTTON PUSH PLZ

Hey Adam, just wanted to let you know, that DC locks me out from your server, because I cant link my phone to my DC-Account. I did use an authenticator app before, so normaly every check is done via scanning an hashed code. But DC is trying to force me to enter my PW which does not make any sense, So Yeah, unfortunately I cant write on your DC.
I had to lock Discord down a couple days ago as someone was making accounts and spamming obscene/grotesque gifs. It is possible I may have to just keep it that way, unfortunately, we'll see.
@@AdamVsEverything sorry to hear that. But is it not possible to change the mode of authentication? Not even 2fa, which is enabled, does require users to link the mobile phone to the DC account. Google authenticator is safer then a PW and in my case set as the 2nd mode of authentification. So I have no way to unlock this.
Do a medieval rw play through please. There aren’t any good ones.
