Happy gardening! I was traveling over the weekend and came across these 2 VERY old roses, something like 30+ years.

The owners were asking my advice about rejuvenating them. I managed to take 2 videos of those roses and here I will be discussing all the tricks and tips of dealing with those old roses. - Навчання та стиль
A useful video about composting (I do it every year on my small plot) - ua-cam.com/video/trnIznVsQlE/v-deo.html
Lovely to see you. I have been helped so much with pruning my heirloom climbing roses by your videos.
Hi, Im a new subscriber, really enjoyed watching this video because I have a climbing rose that isn’t doing well. I like that you showcase the plant and discuss the issue and how to resolve it. Thank you!
Thank you and welcome to my channel! Enjoy!
Hi Olga. I'm a new subscriber and catching up on viewing your earlier videos when I need a rest from working in my own garden. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and passion for gardening!

I planted two David Austin ( Generous Gardener ) roses last year , mulched them and the canes still turned black over the winter. We are zone 6b with 40 degree fluctuations in our nighttime/ daytime temperatures. I see a tiny bit of green at the bottom of some of the black canes . What should I do ? And when , since our nighttime temperatures still drop to the mid twenties/ thirties ?
Wait for the warm weather to settle in with trees starting to leaf out and then inspect your canes. All the dead stuff has to go, your rose will create new canes. Unfortunately you won’t have many blooms this year. Cut all the dead stuff to the green flesh. And consider cane protection for next winter, like laying your canes down or wrapping them with burlap fabric and staffing the “sock” with dried leaves…
Thank you so much for helping me with this!
Olga, how many roses have you got now? And which one is your favourite 😊❤? Are they all from David Austin? 🌹
I have around 24 by now and some are not DAs. It is so hard to say, maybe Rosanna climbing rose which I don’t own?
Very nice and beautiful ❤️ 😍 🤩 👌 Thank you ❤️
Hi I am so happy that they’re going to cut that climbing rose bush by the window. I’ve been wanting to do that for years. It’s a beautiful rose and it smells so good so I hope they get many many blooms out of it. Thank you for helping them.🌹
Oh yes, hope that rose recovers well! Take care!
Никак не могу понять, мне кажется или нет, что иногда к вашему славянскому акценту примешивается некий французкий флёр? 🤔
No French here, that is for sure.
А вы, видимо, удрали из своего оркостана и продолжаете, как и все рузкие, пакостить в стране, которая приютила вашу паршивую душу!
