A really similar thing happened to these two boys who lived above us. They were home alone one day, and I don't know exactly what went down, but we heard this loud BUMP from upstairs, and two minutes later they were frantically ringing our doorbell, and the younger one was covered in blood and broken glass. I don't know if they'd been daring each other to headbut the glass door or what, but it did not look good! My dad had to call their parents and drive them down to A&E - he didn't mind though, he was pleased to have such a good story to tell! (once he knew they were going to be okay, of course)

I remember once when i was about 10 me and the local kids used have competitions to see who could jump from the highest point of the tallest tree in the village, gradually getting higher until eventually my friend Nathan jumped from so high he broke his leg in two places. He was still considered the winner.
Emma Theresa Oh and we had to walk / carry him back as nobody had mobile phones back in the 90s!! Haha. Good times.

Back in westerns unfortunately they didn't do 10 paces etc and shoot on count like in the movies thats all Hollywood... Apparently they would walk a certain amount of paces face each other and just shoot at the same time though you'd only get one shot each so if you hit you won or lost if you both hit... though if they both missed they'd just shake hands and go on with their day's

Jack you do know that even though obviously technology didn't exist in the old days, they still recorded evidence of things that happened by simply writing it down in books and had real photographs they took sometimes lol you can literally find old photos from real draw shootouts from the wild west days (the more slightly modern era though when old fashioned cameras were invented) and same way as the reason why we know king henry existed was we have paintings they did as evidence and real books that are now kept in our museum's we have now lol

I almost killed my brother, was on the bouncy castle at my mums wedding party and he was scared to go onto the castle bit so he was on the bit in front of it, she said don’t jump near him so me being a child was like, ok let’s see what’ll happen. He went flying off the bouncy castle onto the pathing slabs and he cracked his head open and his eyes rolled to the back of his head and his body tensed up and started twitching and he was groaning like a zombie while vomiting and choking on his chunder, blood all over his face. Luckily he was just unconscious and tensing up like they do in ufc when the get knocked out and vomited because of how much he ate hence the grunts and the cracked head was just a small cut, no long term injuries but at that point in time I felt like ted fucking Bundy and I was curled up in a fetal position in the toilets screaming bc I thought I was going to be locked up for life. He got his revenge when I was around 10 and we were playing football he broke/ shattered my 4 main fingers by jumping on my hand with studs on out of anger
