The problems of nothern uganda,they have been a long time in the refugees camp,and now they dont want to work ,only to beg in hostile manner in the harvest time.
I have 40 acres in Apaa and Elegu ,but the employees are from Rwanda or others parts of uganda
I wouldn't want to generalize everyone in Northern Uganda as lazy. It may be true you noticed laziness among some but there are hardworking people. I personally believe in working hard and getting what I deserve instead of begging for free from someone. Keep up the good work of farming

Yes, it is possible to rent a farming land. 1 acre goes for 100,000 UGX per year/season depending on the area. In some areas 1 acre is 150,000 UGX per year

The price of land varies depending on the area you are buying the land from and the amount of acres you want. It is between UGX 1,500,000 to UGX 3,000,000 per acre depending on the area you are buying it from.
