Yeah, it's hard waiting for redraws it makes it feel like it's taking forever, and also, when murata announced the chapter delay, he said he would be working on volume 31 too so it makes sense why it was really short this time around.

Alright I can buy it if he was busy with the book work, but at the same time this keeps happening more frequently now and I'm pretty sure it has to do with his side projects that isn't related to One Punch Man. I noticed this right after the Garou arc. If it's announced that Murata would decide to go on a long hiatus I wouldn't be surprised at this point.
So you said this was worse than the original but outside of it being a short chapter (for valid reasons) I’m confused on what you thought was actually BAD about the chapter. Don’t get me wrong, Void doing the grandiose succ entrance in the original was definitely cool - but the fact that it was a genjutsu made it lame. There was literally no point for it. In my opinion Void effortlessly sneaking up on them after Sonic and Flash take their eyes off each other for literally ONE second makes him seem way more dangerous. It’s also way more in character for a ninja. I can get wanting longer fights because I wanted Flash and Sonic vs the Tenninto to be longer than it was. At the same time, I can get them not wanting to drag out fights for no reason. Case and point being Sonic and Flash vs Empty Void. I disliked the original version because it made Void look weak. In the new version Void getting behind Flash is great. It’s a direct parallel to what Blast did to Flash when they first met during the MA arc and it continues to establish the fact that Blast and Void are equals.
Honestly a few commentors have pointed out the same and I think you guys changed my mind on this. This version seems more aligned with what an elite ninja like Void would do. However I also didn't like how easily tricked Sonic was, like how did he lose track of where Sonic was if they were the last two standing at that point? Sonic is being built up to be the more intuitive ninja while Flashy is physically stronger one. That's why Sonic snapped out of the cube trance before Flashy and got him out of it too in the last version. I would've also liked a change up in the dream sequence Flashy gets thrown into. I remember in the last version I was hoping they would've explored Flashy's childhood mindset a little more, I'm saying maybe a page or two of additional context. Still just not a fan of the chapter as a whole but in Empty Void entrance, you guys definitely changed my mind!

Void didn’t show up until the literal last second. The real Flash was with Sonic the whole time. He’s the one who says “Yeah” on Page 7 and his face is serious to show that he’s locked in. That’s what makes Void being able to sneak up on them even crazier. On Page 6 in the 4th panel Flash isn’t right next to Sonic. He’s a few feet away from Sonic on his right. On Page 7 Sonic is looking at the real Flash. Then on Page 8 Sonic look to his left and the real Flash looks to his right. In that tiny gap, Void then comes in next to Sonic’s right. Sonic thought Flash had just walked up to him but it was actually Void who slipped in so nonchalantly that neither of them noticed until it was too late. And I think Sonic taking the cube from Flash was meant to show how much trust there is between the two. He didn’t even question what Flash was giving to him. He just took it. I do hope we get more Sonic and Flash backstory though. I hope they change Sonic’s vision because I didn’t like the comedic version of it in the original. You can tell they’ve definitely been going for a way more serious tone with the redraws though. There’s barely been any comedy and when there is it’s more so dry humour. Going with the dancing monster cells route again would be very weird.
The previous version was cooler sometimes.but this version has logics filled in.i like the logical ones.just make the chapters a bit long,like at least 30 pages❤
This is not the roughest time to be a fan. It’s only been fairly recent (post Monster Association Arc) that Murata has been cranking out 2 chapters a month consistently and I love it but let’s not forget how horrible it was to wait for 1 chapter a month or sometimes every two months during the early chapters of the Monster Association arc up to the heroes storming the base itself. That was grueling and thinking about it now, relative to how long OPM has been out as a series versus how many chapters we’ve had for it in total, this manga should have either been on its final arc or even been completed by now if we had gotten the consistent release schedule we’re used to now back then.
Imo That man entrance is better in this redraw, bc he's a ninja or assassin, there is no point of using genjutsu just for showing up in the middle of bright daylight for just to look cool Yes he's strong, he can beat all of them, but still.. is not a smart move.. it's not cooler but better
Murata is a busy man. Now he has an anime studio. I remembered that he got hospitalized for overworking (OPM). He is willing to redraw an arc that was not even done. Maybe, you should be grateful. Btw, the initial arc the ninjas survived and the gruesome thing is all an illusion and you liked that? Now, the ninjas are really dead and you are disappointed? I don't know man...
This is one benefit to sticking more so with the anime (I’m only KINDA keeping up with recent events through spoiler videos like these and won’t read the chapters until the anime adapts them). Yeah, the wait is longer, but you get the same amount of content consistently every episode. Plus, sometimes the experience is more “coherent” if that makes any sense. Still, I’m honestly enjoying things so far and my love for the series has not faded in the slightest.
As a webcomic and a manga reader I’m glad that I’m not the only one to realize that this is whole god thing starting to become stale. And might have started to loose the premise of the show of how saitama changes others and how relationships with others people changes people. While I don’t like the manga approach of the whole garou vs saitama and prefer the webcomic fight I think it works well because it shows us a glimpse of how powerful god is. And gives us depth of saitama character (I don’t like the time travel tho that was a cope out) But now this chapter is just all over the place it feels like this chapter doesn’t know what it wants to do tbh (I mean it even has the same ending to the previous redraw chapters) I feel like the manga has been going downhill since the ending of the MA arc because of how it feels like a big huge finale arc and we haven’t really expanded any characters since then I really hope it gets back too it’s roots in the later chapters.

I have been enjoying the revised chapters, though I agree they are way too short. I loved the genjutsu in the original, especially Flashy's surrounding-death-punch, but this one makes more sense if Void is supposed to be on par or better than Blast. It really showed that they stand no chance against him.
The current situation is AFTER HE SUCKED GAROU'S POWER. Don't jump to any conclusions. Just keep reading sinve we don't know much about VOID's power yet. I mean, can he freely use it on Earth or does it get toned down? Or maybe it's just that, if he uses anymore, it would alert blast!

Empty Void actually lived up to his nature, he's a ninja, and like a great ninja he sneaked up and casually did his job done, I like it way more
