I've been looking all over the internet and didn't find a single mention of "Uganda having 50% of Gorillas population" As for the Mountain Gorillas, there are only 900 species of Mountain Gorilla left and even if you assume that ALL OF THEM are in Uganda, it will not add to 50% of Gorillas population because Congo has over 100,000 ! I wasted my precious time on such nonsense comments
I really didn't know there were gorillas in so many different African countries. I thought they're concentrated and few regions covering 4 or 5 countries. This animal is one of my favorite ones. It's so imposing, huge, strong, beautiful and incredibly intelligent.
Why do you not include Uganda that is home to 50% of the mountain gorillas? To leave Uganda out altogether raises questions about how Gravity calculates the number of animals in the different regions and countries?

But if it is lowland gorillas the film deals with, Gravity should have said so! Maybe they left out all the eastern low land gorillas also? @@lukab7893 the gorillas shown for gabon and equatorial guinea aren't mountain gorillas, they're western lowland gorillas. Yes mountain gorillas are critically endangered, though their numbers have been increasing in rwanda particularly, but other species of gorilla are doing allright 👍
Most people think the numbers are much lower because they only just found the 120,000 in the Congo in 2008. Most of these large groups have been discovered after the 90's after everyone thought they were in the thousands and close to extinction but they keep finding more.

The Mountain gorillas in drc live in the east of the country. Its crowded there and a lot of poaching. Congo has lowland gorillas which are more common/less threathened. And better conservation kver there

Gorilla pollution in the whole world are not even near 5000 including those in captivity. It os not wrong. There are just some hundreds of "Montains Gorillas" in Rwanda, Uganda and DRC. BUT there are other kinds like plains Gorillas, and this ARE thousands like The vídeo. Thats right
