@@justinhopper5941 Not exactly the point that was made. It's about the feeling of loneliness and how psychically it seems nothing can make it go away, all the songs buried in Cobain could do only so much in making him feel free, creatively or spiritually, as art can transcend loneliness. However, when it seems like people can't understand how deep it goes, one really sees the futility of it, how our efforts to express our souls seem to barely scratch the surface of this thing that is inescapable, buried deep within. I think Cobain understood that it was too much to live with for any lifetime and it's better to burn out than fade away. Also I think Gus Van Sant captured that kind of alien feeling in these shots by having so many long shots of Kurt juxtaposed to the environment, making him seem insignificant to that which was oppressing him inside while the emptiness seems much larger.

Very well done! That last shot was extremely clever. I’ve loved Cobain’s music & personality for the longest time, so it’s great to see other passionate fans but I still miss him dearly
Kurt Cobain truly was a beautiful human who sadly was not meant for this world. He was so empathetic and passionate for anything and everything that it took a heavy toll on him. As sad as it is to admit how bitter he was becoming towards those said things, he should have still been here- BE here. May he rest in peace! 💕

I really liked how the moment when Kurt's naked ghost leaves his tortured body and starts climbing a non-existent ladder was shown and the fact that this scene is seen by us from behind the glass in addition, from a certain distance, it becomes almost ethereal. It was really beautiful and I was moved😢 A very well made video and that background track adds to filled with nostalgia and sadness the atmosphere.

I was 11 when I bought A hard day's night at Melodia store in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Soviet Union. That was my favorite tune. Now I understand that there was so much loneliness behind the simplicity of the song..
The song was literally about Ringo working so hard he lost track of time and didn't realize that it wasn't the day anymore, it was night. That's how they got the lyric, 'It's been a hard days (realizes its dark outside) night...and I've been working like a dog.'
Курт мне очень помогло его творчество и его мысли его высказывания, я чувствовал себя неудачником номер 1, читал о нем читал переводы песен и я понял я не единственный так себя чувствовал я не говорю что он неудачник, я говорю что он считал что это так
I don’t have words. The only thing I can say is nobody deserves to feel the way he did. I can’t imagine how much pain Kurt went through to get him to that stage where he was just numb. And it really does suck to think about.💔
I will say this. If people really care, why do we ignore others who are outspoken about loneliness in their real life? A lot of people feel this way, and aren't a fraction as loved as Kurt was.
Do some history on what Maynard from Tool went through. Layne Staley lived in this lonely existence as well. Kurt was weak minded and he gave himself an exit. But his legacy is intact. While Layne gets attacked almost daily still. Only difference was Layne was honest

Some of us know that hollow feeling. That overwhelming heaviness of being alone, even in a room full of people. Some have those silent screaming eyes, walled in by a face of sadness. I cant pretend to think I know how you felt. Everyone's sadness is their own. Connected through only tragic moments that ring of the sting of heart ache. Burdened with the weight of living and longing for that final moment. Throwing it all away. Didnt want it anyway. Cant help but envy the strength it must have taken. To look back and then make that final step.
To a loving song. Kurt made this song very sad. And I can't help thinking he was singing about his drug of choice. Kurt was a legend. Writing and making great pieces of music and add to musical history.

One of the most gifted song writers of his generation. In the UK, where MTV was not prevalent in the 90's, I was genuinely shocked by his death. I knew him only through his music. I don't think I'd ever even seen an interview with him. The UK media was not freindly to alternative music, punk, metal or hard rock in general in the early 90's. Nirvana helped change that but it happened slowly. I knew nothing about his struggles with addiction or other issues. At first I simply did not believe that he was dead then I assumed the information I was hearing about the way he died was incorrect. That was easy enough because it was inconsistent. First it was an overdose, then people were saying he was shot which obviously implied murder. Then suicide. It was only when I saw the NME cover the next day that I really believed it. I write all this to dispel the idea that the world was somehow sitting around waiting for him to die. Then watching the after effects on MTV with live coverage of his suicide note being read out. I only saw that footage years later. That was only the case in America. It certainly wasn't the way it was in the UK where very few households had cable or satellite TV.
never heard this song or seen this footage, MAN! that hits deep, for one who is so in love with this man. When I was 14 I had to stop listening to his music for awhile because it made me so sadmad that he took his life, when it had so much value to me and so many others. I think I get it now, getting older, and holy shit this video brings it home. thanks for sharing

Hiding behind that aggressive, caotic, rebellious outer personality, there was a very sensitive soul, a true romantic. A heart broken by the harshness of the world. So much disillusionment, disappointment... He tried to escape his hypersensitivity through art and addiction. Pisces energy is so beautiful, but so, so delicate... Like a precious flower that can be easily destroyed. Finding a more inspiring, spiritual path is the safest escape for them.

I know the pain as a kid to see your parents separate it's very sad childhood for me just like to him I think that's why I relate to his songs. he inspired me to join the band and he is my biggest influence to my music journey as a Guitarist to and I wanted to be like him someday but not what he have done sad cuz he's not around anymore to meet or see him perform again RIP Kurt Cobain
it’s kinda weird to think that a big turning point in his life was his parent’s divorcing and then he goes and leaves Francis to have a single parent raise her
Very well done! That last shot was extremely clever. I’ve loved Cobain’s music & personality for the longest time, so it’s great to see other passionate fans but I still miss him dearly
❤
Kurt Cobain truly was a beautiful human who sadly was not meant for this world. He was so empathetic and passionate for anything and everything that it took a heavy toll on him. As sad as it is to admit how bitter he was becoming towards those said things, he should have still been here- BE here. May he rest in peace! 💕
nicely put
He was meant for this world; just not meant to be a junkie. RiP
What sycophantic nonsense. He died because he was a heroin addict who had the world at his feet and refused to get help
Everyone is meant to be here. He just liked heroin, which in fact, depresses the soul. What a waste.

Всегда, когда слушаю эту песню в исполнении Курта, становится больно на душе...
И хочется уйти куда-нибудь, забыться, отречься от мира

I don’t have words. The only thing I can say is nobody deserves to feel the way he did. I can’t imagine how much pain Kurt went through to get him to that stage where he was just numb. And it really does suck to think about.💔
Eric,
You people think Kurt didn't have free will. Smh

Wow. This hit hard.
To look back and then make that final step.

great artist and a great person. rest in peace Kurt

@@АленаФамильяновна тоже интересно
Hiding behind that aggressive, caotic, rebellious outer personality, there was a very sensitive soul, a true romantic. A heart broken by the harshness of the world. So much disillusionment, disappointment... He tried to escape his hypersensitivity through art and addiction. Pisces energy is so beautiful, but so, so delicate... Like a precious flower that can be easily destroyed. Finding a more inspiring, spiritual path is the safest escape for them.

@@arnold-hu4vk With the amount of dope that was in his bloodstream, there's no way anyone could have operated a 20 gauge shotgun.
He was hit on the head, hot shotted, carried upstairs, 20 gauge shotgun blast to cover up the head wound.... it was a very sloppy job. But everyone in the house was so high and oblivious that the morass of information in their statements makes the truth of it all a very murky prospect. But, the truth is coming out.... just wait and see.... soon, you'll know.
He was getting ready to divorce Love, put time into solo work (was handing out demo tapes for review/opinions), and making plans to get into harder music.... he loved early metal and wanted to take a try at it. I had a dream once where I was driving that same car through that forest and Kurt was hitchhiking so I picked him up. He was carrying a small back like he is here, and his hair was covering his face the whole drive.
