I have never understood why the thai government doesn't make it easy for long term tourist to renew the visa considering that the arrival of tourists are going to be far lower than what they'd like it. Some explanations?

in germany, in november 2021, 20.3% of all sold cars where pure BEV (no hybrid).
i saw some very exciting news/interviews of battery researchers of the next generation of batteries, that get more energy dense and cheaper. they are already in the pipeline at different manufacturers, currently scaling up.
whether you choose a hybrid where you get more range or a pure BEV that gets cheaper, the electric cars are getting better and that explains the sales growth of +60% per year.
i will drive my 21 old diesel a few year and i will be very happy to switch to a BEV.
regarding that: please ask people in thailand about their solar panels for making electricity - especially on islands where dirty diesel generators do the work.
does not need to be about shaming diesel but more the happy solar panels owners. solar panels are getting dirt cheap anyway.

Re elecy cars it will be 50 years to see them as major vehicles on road, they still rely on fossil fuel to generate recharge system, fossil fuel will always be in demand.

And on another note I am vacationing here in Florida on the East Coast of the US and their percentages are the lowest in the US and there’s no mandate on vaccines or masks but they’re the lowest percentage of Covid cases. Six cases in 100,000. People
That's because they had the highest rates in the country for months, lol. It's run out of people to infect.
