10 Mins with Falz The Bahd Guy: Part 1

What's not to love about Falz The Bahd Guy? The "Bahd Baddo Baddest", "Bop Daddy", "This is Nigeria" and "Hypocrite" hitmaker is undoubtedly one of Nigeria's most successful music exports in the past decade, clinching a BET Award and two African Magic Viewers Choice Awards - some coveted and respected awards in African music and film industry.
The all rounded entertainer is a super talented and versatile artist dabbling in music and acting. In part 1 of my interview with him, we talk about the delicate balance in between different passions, success and the one thing that he can't do! He tells me all about his earlier days in the industry serving two masters (law by day and entertainment by night) and finally settling down to become a full on entertainer, with the blessings of his parents, The Falanas, who are both well known legal practitioners and activists, in Nigeria.
He's teasing a new album and EP, set to drop in 2020 and I can't wait! I have been on a journey with Falz music since 2015 when he released his second album: Stories that Touch, which I reviewed on my blog: wp.me/pnN1E-1uK His other albums include Wazup Guy (2014), Chemistry (Falz and Simi EP), 27 (2017) and Moral Instruction (2019). All worth it but I will highly recommend Stories that Touch and Moral Instruction.
