This is a story about one Queen, two paintings and two birds. One that doesn’t exist and the other that looks nothing like what you would expect.
I promise you that this is another very interesting tale, spanning some 3000 years and involves some of the most eminent philosophers and zoologists of their time. Although the theme stems from the paintings the scope is as usual very wide. So settle back and enjoy. This part deals principally with the phoenix and Part 2 with the pelican.

A softly beautiful presentation. Delightful art, gracious poems and a narration which soothed my addled mind after a tough day. Who could ask for more? Me! I am straight on to part two. Thank you DS - nobody could do such work better than you.

Benu can also be called the soul of Ra , the expression of "holy spirit" so to speak. From further back beyond the Egyptian dynasties we are used to hearing about . Love your special presentations

The pdf is magnificent. Stands on it's own though I like the A/V presentation. Thanks for the extra effort!

Hello Rick, Many thanks in fact you are the first to comment on a pdf. I had asked a few people if they had looked at them, but got no reply. Fortunately there is not too much work involved as I use the text and images from the slide show with a bit of jiggling to get them onto the page.Kind regards David

I think you may have meant the tomb of Nefertari, not Nefertiti?
