Lyrics:
Striking down the enemy
Fighting hand to hand
Troops are thrusting onwards
Time to take command
Ready to devour
On the attack
Bodies lie dismembered
Maimed, killed, and hacked
Draw fast, cut first
Live hard, die hard
Feel the point of the blade
Lunging like an animal, killing all in sight
Going for the throat, living for the light
In a bath of bloodshed, mixing with the sweat
Crawling through the barbwire, put it to the test
Fight, Fight, Fight
Fight, Fight, Fighting the war
Fight, Fight, Fight
Fight, Fight, Fight
Gung-ho, Gung-ho, Gung-ho
Gung-ho, Gung-ho, Gung-ho
Raging on the warpath, storming through the town
Blowing it to pieces, killing all around
Stand in our way, if you've got the balls
In a hail of bullets, your nailed to the wall
We wait out the day, we burn in the sun
We move in by night, and kill everyone
Show no emotions, have no regrets
Made to take pain, no fear of death
Draw fast, cut first
Live hard, die hard
Feel the point of the blade
I love how they all genuinely looked like they were having fun. That’s why they’re my favorite of the big 4
They are like the little brother's of the big 4
@@gregorydavis4742 little brother that's cause problems and want to have more fun😄
I think them and Metallica has the most fun in there primes for sure
Same here. Plus, they've never sold themselves as McTallica did. No f*****g slimy ballads in their repertoire.
@@robi-wo9mc It always surprised me how people say that Metallica sold off. Like, the last thing a band would do to make money would be diving into Alt Rock lol. But I get your point, kind of. Anthrax did try to go into grunge in the 90s which was a much more money grabbing move than what Metallica did
I feel Spitz is pretty underrated. He played those wicked fast solos with such ease
So true! A killer on guitar !
He's a speed freak 🎸... does a lot of slick stuff
Anthrax, my favorite thrash metal band of the '80s! Funniest and positive, but very powerful band. Great!!! Thanks from Italy
Hey McFly!
How many times have you seen them in concert? 🇮🇹
☮️💜🇺🇸
I'mma huge fan too!
Even seen them in the 80's!!
Hi Petunia!!
Unfortunately never seen in concert! 😔
Esatto. Numeri uno. Hanno sempre spaccato.
Charlie is such a fantastic drummer easily top 10 of all time imo
He does good for Pantera too it was surreal seeing them with Metallica and normally at the end of each new Pantera set they all take a bow in front of the drum kit well Charlie tried to sneak away to miss that part Phil said get back here Charles we do it every time.
Charlie's legs move like a fucking mantis, he's a beast on the drums
Love em or hate em, you can't deny they know how to put on a damn good show
I was there, Testament supporting, my life is complete
This is probably the best version of this song I've heard. Drums actually have kick here.
This was Anthrax in their thrash metal prime.
Holy fuck, Frank Bello is a beast in this one (the rest as well)
Especially charlie
I had this video when it first came out…. I literally sat my old cassette player next to the tv speaker and recorded the whole thing so I could listen to it on my Walkman whilst going to school. Sounded rubbish… but such happy memories….. in my wisdom I asked my Mum for a pair of those 3/4 length shorts Danny Spitz is wearing….. great idea in California… not so much in Yorkshire in the late 1980’s…..
This energy is the reason I love this band !
Chaz with feet like a minigun
This is the best song of Anthrax. :)
Best album by far!
Lombardo maybe most thrasher’s favorite but for me it was always fuckin Charlie Benante!!! Double kicks just flying and beating the living shit outta ya! Came here to just see a throwback from my teenage youth and almost shed tears of joy. My rhythm guitarist back in the day, used to own this on VHS back in 90. Good ol days!
I love anthrax! I used them to get ready for my stressful waitressing job for years. I had caught in a mosh ready on repeat and listened to it every morning lol . Efilnikufesin was on my cleaning playlist. I'm retired from 30 years waitressing but I still take a dose of anthrax weekly!
05:26 you lucky bastard!
@6:35 Now I know where Primus got the idea for Wynona's Big Brown Beaver.
I was about to say the exact same thing. Haha.
Nothing can match the 80s and 90s heavy metal 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
From NYC to the world!!! All hail AnthraX!!
Gotta love the way scott used to stomp around the stage.
Gung-Ho and Across the River/Howling Furies are my favorite songs
its great performance!
Ripping off the roof!👌🏼
I see this Song live ca 91 in Bern 🇨🇭
With Iron Maiden
💪🍻
This is their fastest song ever
That Ninja Turtle Jackson man... fuck!!
Dream guitar😻
I think this is their best song
Charlie Benanante destroying that drum kit 🤘
AMONG THE LIVING Tour!! I saw this tour when they were on the bill with KISS on their Crazy Night Tour at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa, CA. back in 88' , I got to meet Scott & Frank in the parking lot on their tour bus, That was a killer night!!
HERE WE GO HERE WE GOOO
Man, I had this on VHS back in the day.
Anthrax é foda demais
That was fucking ace!
Scott with hair 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He looks like a mad scientist conducting an orchestra! 🤯🤘🤘🤘
タイムマシーンがあったら、この時代に戻りたい。
Who's the guy at 5:08???
Just a camera man filming Danny
Saw them at Donnington that year oh to be 17 again😂
Its all about METAL ❤
All that hair went from Scott’s Scalp to his chin. 🤣
thought they were gonna play this little 20th century stuff
I’m new how does the crowd know the exact cheer
Scoops
It’s a regular football chant known in the UK, particularly England.
What's the Title of the chant?
@@vincentlennardysmael3639Liberty Bell
Love the ending of this version. Better than the studio version. Shame we'll never see shows like this again.
6:32 anyone else hear what might have inspired Wynona's Big Brown Beaver by Primus?
What are the songs they're playing in the beginning
Whats the football chants name at the beginning?
Anthrax fucking amazing ❤
1:28
Anthrax and SOD are the founders of metalcore.
RycheRageForOrder wtf
RycheRageForOrder wtf anthrax is thras you idiot
Crossover thrash, dude.
This might be the the most retarded comment ive seen in a video in a long time
there is no metalcore here
Name of the chant from the start of the vid?
The tune is “Liberty bell” by Souza. The chant is “Ere we go, ‘ere we go, ‘ere we go!”
Who is the fan on the stage?
Me

Everyone get the fuck up and do the Ian
Anthrax " the band" not "the bomb" hahahah
Nisefukinvidio
