Ingredients
1 lb. of Shrimp (large) deveined and peeled
1/2 - 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, shredded
6 - 8 slices of Bacon
1 tbsp Creole/Cajun seasoning
3 Garlic Cloves
1 cup Grits
2 cups Chicken Broth
1 cup Milk
1 tsp Salt
Fresh Ground Peppercorn to Taste

I use both... instant on workdays/ school days for the kids for warm tummies but o n the weekends, nothing but the original... multiple hot water washes to clean them and start the swelling process, milk/ heavy cream and broth...various cheeses, YESSSSSSS!

@@SmokinandGrillinwithAB don't listen to that it's instant grits are just as good as regular grits instant grits this is good cuz I eat them all the time put them in my bowl and some water put them in the microwave they done in 3 minutes and all I have to do is add my sugar and that's it cuz I don't use milk and all that stuff in my grits.

Looking good AB! We all use instant grits, but to take it to the next level, stone ground grits adds a wonderful texture and flavor to the dish. I also only use heavy cream or half and half instead of milk, it makes the grits so creamy and delicious. I learned about using cream from a professional chief at a seafood restaurant many years ago.

A+ plate! Never used instant grits didn't even think about it. I do use instant cream of wheat if I'm out of grits. I'm sure everything will taste just fine either way.

Great recipe AB. Just made some. This is now my go for making grits no more plain grits.
I made this yesterday for our anniversary dinner. Added some hot sauce to the pan at the end w/ the butter and garlic and swapped milk for heavy cream in the grits. It was incredible! Reminded my wife and I of our honeymoon to Charleston. Thanks for the recipe!
