There's a cheaper way to make coyote power that's not nitrous. Get the on3 turbo kit for $2800 and you can make ~450whp with it. You need a few mods as well but you can get everything thru on3. All in all you're gonna spend about 5k. It's not cheap but when you consider how cheap the car is, you just made a $8000 car fast enough to hang with a stock C7 corvette.

the manual trans headers will indeed work, just smack them a bit and let your tuner know which cylinders you hammered in. I sound like im just messing around but forreal thats the only way to get them to fit
Coyote swap is the move. It’s one of the easier platform to swap. The earlier 94-98 is really light at 3200lbs vs 3400 new edge which is much lighter than the 3800-4000lbs s197-s550. Run nitrous on the 4.6 and save 6-8k for a coyote swap. Then run the coyote with a nitrous setup. 600 plus hp under 10k

If ford would have made the coyote heads semi universal the 4.6 would definitely be NO slouch in anyway. Hell they could have made racing heads for the enthusiasts but they didn't
Yes, buy a $25,000 Mustang instead of a $5,000 one, OR, buy an $8,000 engine to put in a $5,000 Mustang. If we were looking for easy, we'd buy an LS like any other cun7.
I will say this. My personal opinion, the 2V sound better than the coyotes.

It definitely sounds better. No question. But the coyote is overall a better engine objectively.
Definitely has more of the muscle sound. The coyote sounds more like a sports car V8 like the motor in a Lexus is-f.
Mod motors sound better but coyotes make better power

Oh, and if you're going to do all that. Do an aluminum driveshaft and aluminum flywheel.
Free up more hp and improve acceleration.
