I waited for 20 minutes for that fucking kiosk to come back, and when it did, i fell off... imma kms
literally going through that as speak, mfw when i start the guide on that one, see the kiosk is literally right there as I'm arriving, jump up, and totally whiff the damn jump lmao

finding datacrons is the definition of pain
I would like to meet the person who figured all these out without help from SWTOR dev team. Some of these are so obscure that it would take a special brain or completely mad.

Thank you for a really well made guide, no fluff, no bullshit, just everything i needed to know and not a moment of my time wasted, video liked and very much appreciated, again THANK YOU! i got so frustrated at the few guides i tried before this, either they mumbled and talked so quietly that i couldn't hear a thing or they made each data-crons section 8 mins long with dissertations, all the best to ya.
I’m trying to get the first one done when it finally got to the roof I jumped on it and I was all of a sudden teleported back to the beginning jump puzzle part but the enemies saw me and I couldn’t get back up fast enough to try again

I desynced on the blue one when I jumped to it. Was teleported to the enemies underneath. Had to wait for it to come around again. -_-

Watched a few of your datacron videos today, they are a blessing. The one on Nar Shaddaa with a Kiosk is the worst datacron setup I've seen (played, it wasn't that bad in your video).

This last datacron is hell on earth to get for large build characters, which will bounce of obstacles, slide, or not jump at all, due to their large size. And above all, on the last pipe, camera will go to wrong angles, and player will be blind, unable to calculate proper jump.
why not just temporarily change the body type or simply do it on another character with either body type 1 or 2 cause I have been told it is legacy wise but I could be wrong

@4.56 I got to datacron, jumped right over it and landed in a pack of heroic mobs when all I needed to do was not jump and click it......RIP
Still extremely useful four years later. Clear, succinct, and I really respect you making double-sure people don't miss the important items needed for certain datacrons. Top-notch.
That last datacron is absolutely shit to get. If I wanted to play a damn platformer I would have. However put the thing up there was just looking to make people angry.
i think the real problem with jumping in this game is the delay when you jump it takes like half a second to jump after you hit the space bar and in that situation half a second is alot of time
Important for those of you new to datacrons:
Some planets have redundant datacrons in two places, one for each faction.
Nar Shaddaa is one. Corellia is another.
If you seek only to get a datacron for your legacy and that little bonus to all characters, you only need to get one of the redundant pair-- so it works to get some with an imperial character and the others with a republic character. If you want to get the datacron master achievement, that is a different situation.

For the "Presence" in Duros Slums, you can use the heoric CRUSHING THE JEDI FREEDOM FIGHTERS. Turn around once you arrive and you can take the elevator to the Duros Slums. Also of note; I tried to fall through the holes in the cloth awnings, and could not.
For the Orange Mastery in the Network Security District, you can use the heroic BUILD A BETTER BEAST to get much closer than with the taxi.
I wish more players (and most importantly content creators) put insights like You. Everybody can copy what others said giving taxi as starting point but showing mission as such point -that's much more clever. Thanks :)

No, if you check your Datacron collection in Legacy (press "Y"), you will see which ones you have.

The first one is cancer. I got on it twice and it just spawns me back to the ground the moment I touched it lol

what armor do you have on?
I'm confused there datacron for the republic and empire side? So how many are in total? In the legacy-Datacron sheet only shows 4 datacrons not republic or empire.
I was the same and was curious so just finished going for the 1st one on the Imp side (after having done the Repub side) and it says you are no longer able to access so yes doing Repub side (either or) is all that is required
I ended up waiting on that slow ride with another player i didnt know. Awkward.

when i hopped on the kiosk the floating news station the game kicked me out did that happend to someone else ?
Something similar happens to me. When I attempted to step off the kiosk and land on the ledge with the datacron, I got stuck and was returned to the ground. It has got to be a bug in the game.
A droid targeted me in that first datachron and actually managed to kill me

Thank you! These are, as always, fantastic. Love the 326-3827 easter egg. Also, at the end of the matrix shard is a "Maintenance Override" communicator on the floor with some destinations and codes (which is where you find out what the correct incinerator code is in case you had not gone there to pick up the Slot Decoder first). Nice little flavor area in general with the slot machines and some corpses, very much in the Nar Shaddaa underbelly spirit.

The Kiosk doesn't appear in my game pls help
Just be patient. A full rotation takes about 40 min, you might just have missed it

Her name is Veeroa Denz, if it is the Nautolan you are asking about. You can get her by completing the Nar Shaddaa Star Fortress mission yo can do after Knights of the Fallen Empire chapter 9.

i just found the strength data Cron but for some reason it says mastery for me but anyways the only reason why i found it cause i saw a glowing taxi as i was almost to my destination i was like ''that cant be on purpose'' so i just had to investigate
Strength is the old names for them. In my pinned message, I have named them as they are known now.

do the stats last forever?
Yes, they are a permanent part of your passive stats on the Legacy you are on, which means, if you go to another server, they aren't added

What happens if i didnt interact with that machine before picking up the datacron?
You mean the one in the incineration room? The room would turn back on and fire would burn you, and you won't be able to get the final datacron, unless you are doing it with a friend who unlocks it.
