Master gunslinger Sabata arrives in Hobsonville, a town completely owned by McIntock, a robber baron who is taxing the inhabitants for the cost of future improvements to the town. Or that's what McIntock says he'll do with the money...

"This has to be one of the most entertaining, funniest and fun to watch movies I've seen in a while! As a lover of spaghetti westerns and a big fan of Lee van Cleef, I was excited about catching this on TV. Not the kind of movie you have the chance to watch usually, at least where I live. I expected just one more SW, but no "É tornato Sabata" offers something more. It is quirky, it is sometimes bordering the realms of surreal; and it's a lot of fun to watch. But funny, also -in fact, it's something of a comedy-western, with the agreeable bit of cheesiness that you can find in some of these movies -movies made only to entertain people and provide a good time. This movie does that not only by way of the plot -the charismatic and mysterious hero Sabata arrives in a town ruled by a local tyrant who imposes abusive taxes, with the action that ensues but also and especially thanks to the amusing dialogues and performances of the whole cast, of which I especially enjoyed Lee van Cleef -once again showing what a talented, sadly underrated actor he was, but also how much he enjoyed his work-, and Pedro Sánchez, here listed as Ignazio Spalla.
Gianfranco Parolini directs the movie, paying very good attention to most of the unwritten rules or principles of spaghetti westerns, following Sergio Leone's extreme close-ups or sometimes slightly overdone facial expressions or sound effects.

Such a surreal start to a Western! It reminded me of an episode of TVs The Avengers.
A funny thing about these movies is how fun they are to watch and they are not even made in north America but made in Italy.

Probably my favorite western character of all the films. Van Cleef was made for the role and plays it oh so perfectly. This is also a rare time where not even the sequel, but the THIRD film in the trilogy is just as good as the first.

The stuntmen/ stuntwomen in this movie are the true stars here- but Lee and the cast do some great physical acting along with their regular acting.

So i just finished watching the original sabata and loved it so i thought i better watch this one. I know there is another but it does not have lee van cleef in it so im not as interested in it although ill see it sometime. I liked this show alot im in the middle of a lee van cleef movie a thon i love lee one of the greatest ever. He is great in the titular role of sabata in these flicks. They are just cool and so is he. I highly recommend watching both his sabata flims immediately they are both very entertaining movies. I was late to the party on these i know but since i know how great they are now i plan on watching them many more times. Two thumbs way up thanks for the upload great movie

Was fascinated by this movie ever since I saw it as kid in the early 1970s, at the Halsted Drive-In Theater in Chicago!
Some spagitte westerns were actually filmed in Texas and Mexico Italy and Spain! Thats were they captured there beautiful landscape so amazing famous artist came from far off to make abstract paintings of the romanced old west terrian! These areas are still remote and always will be!
