As a Canadian, we would rather sell our natural resources to the U.S because you're more aligned with our values. The problem is that Trump is a bully and if you don't bend the knee to him, he tries to punish you. It's logistically harder, but resources can be sold elsewhere to other more reliable nations if needed. If Trump wins and implements punishments outside of trade deals, then it's incumbent on the world to punch back against his regime as a collective global force. The U.S is a very different and more respected country if Harris/Walz win.

What would help the housing market is if we could stop a lot of these corporate landlords from conspiring together to create falsely inflated rent prices and we also need to stop a lot of these corporate landlords from buying up all of the affordable properties and flipping them pricing them out of the middle class we need legislation that prevents this type of thing from happening

My observations as a Canadian. Every time Trump tries to campaign on the border issue, the media needs to remind people that there was an agreement by Republicans and Democrats to secure the border, and Trump boastfully blew it up. I love what VP Kamala Harris is saying about building new homes, but I've been waiting for years and years for one president to talk about doing something for the homeless in this country. I only hear about helping the middle class live a better life. I live in Las Vegas and I see the homeless lying in tents, on the ground with filthy blankets and clothes, hungry, thirsty, and sick in the scorching heat of over 100 degrees in the summer, in pouring rain, cold in winter. I see the disabled in wheelchairs trying to find a piece of shade in the hot summer, I see the elderly lying in dirt piles. I see people on the street in hospital gowns that were released from the hospital with nowhere to go. I saw a young girl in a hospital gown sitting on a bus stop screaming to the top of her lungs because she was hungry and cold. There is one shelter for mothers with kids. They have a couple of shelters, and that's it. It's the same for Los Angeles four hours away and many other states. I try and feed and many of them from my own pocket but i can't do much on social security. I moved from Wisconsin, where they take care of the homeless and help them get on their feet. I keep waiting for one president to talk about helping these people but, instead of helping the hungry and shelter less, the Supreme Court has now declared it's a crime to be homeless, to sleep on the street. What in God's name? They are the forgotten of the United States of America. The richest and most powerful country in the world.

If MAGAs want to know what happens to inflation when you impose tariffs they should have a look at what Brexit did to the UK economy. Which applied essential tariffs on goods coming and going from our nearest trading partner the EU by leaving the single market.
UK businesses struggled to export to the EU and costs for importing goods spiralled.

In Denmark we have housing-unions whichs is owned by non-profit unions which keeps down the rent. That in it self keeps down the cost of privately owned housing in the areas where the housing unions exists.

I love what VP Kamala Harris is saying about building new homes, but I've been waiting for years and years for one president to talk about doing something for the homeless in this country. I only hear about helping the middle class live a better life. I live in Las Vegas and I see the homeless lying in tents, on the ground with filthy blankets and clothes, hungry, thirsty, and sick in the scorching heat of over 100 degrees in the summer, in pouring rain, cold in winter. I see the disabled in wheelchairs trying to find a piece of shade in the hot summer, I see the elderly lying in dirt piles. I see people on the street in hospital gowns that were released from the hospital with nowhere to go. I saw a young girl in a hospital gown sitting on a bus stop screaming to the top of her lungs because she was hungry and cold. There is one shelter for mothers with kids. They have a couple of shelters, and that's it. It's the same for Los Angeles four hours away and many other states. I try and feed and many of them from my own pocket but i can't do much on social security. I moved from Wisconsin, where they take care of the homeless and help them get on their feet. I keep waiting for one president to talk about helping these people but, instead of helping the hungry and shelter less, the Supreme Court has now declared it's a crime to be homeless, to sleep on the street. What in God's name? They are the forgotten of the United States of America. The richest and most powerful country in the world.
