This is a fine string quartet performed extremely well by the four musicians. Gliere [1875-1956] apart from composing elegant string chamber music (1 octet, 3 sextets & 4 quartets), wrote also among other works 3 symphonies, concertos [ for harp (very famous), horn, cello and violin ] and fantastic piano preludes.
