I absolutely agree! They’ve both been on the show for such a long time and they’ve never really explored them as a main character. And they’re both hilarious so I don’t know why lol
For the first time I genuinely believe Valentene cares about someone other than himself. Not that the actor doesn't always bring his “A” game, I mean the character. Valentene loves his daughter Charlotte, that's genuine. There was something always off about him and Nina, too forced, almost disingenuine about his love for her. Like a trophy wife, just for showing, not actually loving her. But when he thought Alexis was his sister, he didn't really involve her with his life. Since he found out she's not his sister, but technically his “stepsister”, they've been closer than ever. Go figure... I like this side of Valentene's personality.
