@@doubleDdeke This is the coolest and my most favorite comment yet. Congratulations brother on all the hard work and actually taking action. Please keep me informed on your business progress. Seems like you already know that. Congratulations again and thank you for sharing this with me. I love this
You have given me some hope. My business has been illegitimate for 3 years. I finally started Shaw's Out Door Labor LLC. It's just me and my wife at this time but I have hopes to hire day labor next year.
@@nicholasshaw4993 Thank you for this comment brother. Keep pushing forward and don’t let failure be a thought in your mind. Never not had a job since I was 15. 54 now and been on disability for 6 years and absolutely HATE it, I feel like a drain on society. My knees are screwed up and walking is a luxury some days but I still go out looking for scrap metal, do junk removal, basic lawn care basically anything I can do make money because disability pays for hardly anything. Single dad of 4 just trying to live, working as my body allows. Still living in fear of stuff getting disconnected, repossed and keeping food in the cupboards. Keeps ya motivated.
Glad you are having success. Keep up the work and positive vibe. Glad you got a helper. Make sure to pay them well and keep them happy, if they are good!

I’m someone who likes doing service business work a lot. Im currently doing it part time on the weekends and after my day job and going to college. Im currently a senior going to graduate with a construction management degree. I’ll have a job starting at 70k in the Midwest with benefits and could be in the 6 figures after 5 years. However, I truly don’t think that it’s something I want to do for 40 years or even a few years. I’m going to graduate but My parents hate the idea of me leaving my construction career and going into my own business. Obviously there opinion shouldn’t affect my decision but it definitely doesn’t help. I have always felt like I’m not really meant to work for someone if that makes sense. I have a buddy who started a business doing siding and I’m thinking about joining him for 50/50 ownership. I would do siding in the summer and move into Christmas lights and snow removal in the winter. I also want to get into real estate but I’m in my early 20’s and need to make a decision sooner than later. Just wondering what your thoughts are? I know I got time but it feels like time is running out even though I’m still young in the scale of life. Currently I’m planning on working for the company I’m at for a year or so. Save as much as I can and then start my business. Seems scary but u know it’s what I truly want to do just seems scary sometimes especially with people around you telling you it’s a terrible idea, but what do they no they just worked a 9-5 there whole life are my thoughts on that.
@@ct158 First off I know exactly how you feel when it comes to not feeling right working for someone else. That’s because you’re a true entrepreneur at heart. You are a creator.
