Good video! You do a great job. So glad you still do videos. I really like you style. It's the same as mine. I have a bee doll from Sally also. I have done alot of the same bee patterns. I don't really do my own finishing like you do. I worked in a frame shop too. But I don't like to do pining or lacing. I don't do seasonal stitching. Just stitch whatever strikes me.
That is awesome! I’m not thrilled to do lacing, but it’s the best way for me to get things straight when framing. I did all of those pieces in one day and just got it over with! 😁

I love all your bee things. They are beautiful. Your husband makes beautiful frames. I was wondering if you entered anything in the Eastern Idaho State Fair? It’s going on right now. I entered 2 cross stitch projects in the needlework arts and some knitting too. A shawl that looks like a butterfly and a color work hat. Also I entered 3 pastel drawings in the Fine Arts section. This is my first time entering in this fair. I also loved your craft room. It’s amazing. It’s like a museum. You have a lot of talent for sure.

I won 3 second place ribbons. One for a big sampler, another for a sampler of Cardinals with a Christmas theme, and one for my knitted butterfly shawl. I won an Honorable Mention for my pastel drawing of some sunflowers that I grew in my yard. It was fun to enter. You should try next year. Your stitched things are so different from the traditional thing I saw at our fair. 😊

Oh, I love the Little Red Hen!! Every time I went to Amana for a retreat I also visited them! Such a fun store. I don’t know about a framing tutorial… there are a lot of great ones out there already. On Olga's Stocking what count did you stitch on and should the fabric have stiffness? What is a sufficient excess for finishing? Can you tell I've never stitched a stocking? 😆 Thanks Cathy.
Hi! I stitched mine on 36ct linen over two threads which is the same as 18ct aida. I am going to iron interfacing onto the back of the stitched piece when I sew it into a stocking. I left 2 1/2” on the right side of the fabric when I started so there is plenty of margin to sew it into a stocking.
There aren’t any ☹️. The closest shop to me is Shepherd’s Bush in Ogden, UT and then there is Maggie’s on Main in Emmett, ID, but it’s just as far and the traffic is horrible. There used to be a nice shop in Twin Falls but it closed a long time ago.

Oh no! That’s not good. I’m allergic to yellow jackets but luckily I haven’t been stung by one for many years. I’m very careful outside, though. I will stick with my stitched bees!! Thanks for watching even if you don’t like them!! 😁

I love all your bee things. They are beautiful. Your husband makes beautiful frames. I was wondering if you entered anything in the Eastern Idaho State Fair? It’s going on right now. I entered 2 cross stitch projects in the needlework arts and some knitting too. A shawl that looks like a butterfly and a color work hat. Also I entered 3 pastel drawings in the Fine Arts section. This is my first time entering in this fair.
I also loved your craft room. It’s amazing. It’s like a museum. You have a lot of talent for sure.

I won 3 second place ribbons. One for a big sampler, another for a sampler of Cardinals with a Christmas theme, and one for my knitted butterfly shawl. I won an Honorable Mention for my pastel drawing of some sunflowers that I grew in my yard. It was fun to enter. You should try next year. Your stitched things are so different from the traditional thing I saw at our fair. 😊

Oh, I love the Little Red Hen!! Every time I went to Amana for a retreat I also visited them! Such a fun store. I don’t know about a framing tutorial… there are a lot of great ones out there already. Oh boy. I didn’t keep track! I worked on it about 3 hours a day for 4 months straight til I got it done. It was a lot of hours! 😅
On Olga's Stocking what count did you stitch on and should the fabric have stiffness? What is a sufficient excess for finishing? Can you tell I've never stitched a stocking? 😆 Thanks Cathy.
Hi! I stitched mine on 36ct linen over two threads which is the same as 18ct aida. I am going to iron interfacing onto the back of the stitched piece when I sew it into a stocking. I left 2 1/2” on the right side of the fabric when I started so there is plenty of margin to sew it into a stocking.
What color red did you paint the tray? I really like it. You are very lucky to have a husband who can make your frames. I love Olga’s stocking.

What LNS shops are in the Magic Valley?
There aren’t any ☹️. The closest shop to me is Shepherd’s Bush in Ogden, UT and then there is Maggie’s on Main in Emmett, ID, but it’s just as far and the traffic is horrible. There used to be a nice shop in Twin Falls but it closed a long time ago.
I thought you showed how to put paper on the back of framed artwork. What video was that?
