fun fact about the mines, the bad luck can play in your favor. when you have neutral to bad luck, you get less ore but you also get more fibre. so when farming fibre it’s best to go on a bad luck day. -it’s good for when you had initial plans for a day that will be harshly affected by luck, you can just hop in the mines to still make use of your day
Not only to preserve the hoeing. Wheat saves all the fertiliser so it's carried over to the next season. After harvesting the wheat, Pox will be able to use the deluxe speed gro on the next crops he buys in fall. Very smart play!
I watched all your episodes in a really short time and I love this series so much! Theire very entertaining, but also calm me down (because stardew valley has such a relaxing and cozy atmosphere :) Thank you so much for your content and all the time and work you put into it
The strawberry plant sacrificing his life was sad considering there were other spots to place the ancient seed. I probably would’ve tried to use speed grow of some kind on it. Thanks for all these videos it’s really fun. I can’t wait till my schedule frees up some more and I can actually play again.

you could always place a preserve jar at the end of each of your rows so you can add maybe four or five.. it might make it harder to get the ones in the corner though
Why are you saving items to sell? I'm not criticizing. I'm just curious why. I would sell them all and use the money to buy sprinklers and food for energy. Then clear everything to plant more crops.

So your friend was planting wheat on the 26th. & like you said it take 3 days ti harvest. so it would not be ready at all for your friend to harvest it on the 28. it would of been ready in the first, & would be dead. I be shocked if he got to harvest that wheat at all. Most of all I love that you have 2 ANCIENT FRUIT SEEDS & HAVE THEM GROWING.
You should be keeping your money as low as possible. Spend that money on resources to craft tappers to get oak resin and buy more resources to make as many kegs as possible. If you can’t make kegs you should be making more preserves jars. Money is being wasted every time fruit is sold without being processed.
Funny story: I just recently started a new file and as of the 24th of Spring & I've already found 3 Ancient seed between fishing & mining, The first one was donated naturally and the other's turned into ancient seeds. What are the odds of something like that happening? XD
I find it hilarious that Sharky is so optimistic that he has even the slightest chance of wining at this point. I mean Pox has in my estimation 150-200k more at this point. He is so far behind right now it's basically hopeless. Also how are you sitting on 155k, turn that money into sprinkler and fill your whole farm with cranberries. You should have cleared your whole farm and set up a huge cranberry farm to at least try and be competitive.
Yeah, I recognized earlier on that Sharky probably isn’t winning this one. I have probably more than 2k hours in the game. And there are many things that Sharky could’ve done more optimally. For example, Sharky getting the fish pond I was like yikes. I don’t think that’s gonna work well in terms of profit per tile. I completely agree with you on Pox winning this, as I’ve 🤦♂️ many times watching this. Nonetheless I’ve enjoyed having the videos to watch, and excited for Poxial’s 100 days viewpoint.

I'm confused by Sharky buying wood and stone all the time. Isn't it better to chop down trees and mine stones for free instead of spending money for it? Or is it a time/cost thing?
It’s a time things. The goal with this challenge is to make the most money throughout the whole challenge; it’s not who has the most money at the end. So it’s more efficient to buy resources instead of spending time chopping etc
There's only a little amount of wood to gather especially when you're up against another player who is also chopping trees down too! Plus they take agess to grow. I haven't got time to wait. I need wood quick and fast! So I wanna spend my hard earned money on it, is that okay? 😏
@@SharkyGamess It would be fun to see the two of you do this again knowing any mistakes you may have made and with a base game (no mods) where you have to compete even for basic things like stone and wood (no buying).

The wheat is a great throwaway crop because it's leaving the soil watered and ready for better crops comes fall
