My first truck 1962 ford the bed and cab are one piece, gave $500 bucks for it, someone had painted it with house paint. Memories man. Great video, keep'um coming
10,000 cars and i ain't ever seen a window glass put up a fight like that. That kinda stuff is what keeps my passion for car smashing. Same procedure but each one is different
Those Fiat X1/9’s are worth thousands and I have a friend in New Zealand who has one. They we’re designed by Bertone of Italy now a rare little car. They would have been a great little project car
Good clean up, for those thinking these fiat x 1/9 cars were worth saving, they rust like hell, only the 850 spider hardtop was rare but broke in half so forget that one too, as I said good work Cowboy, nice bundles made, worth seeing and reading that old cars are still in the hearts of many, thirthy years ago crushing these now classic cars was normal so enjoy and have fun with 'our' Cowboy!!
@@CJColvin really, I work at a crushing yard in Orlando Florida and we crushed several hundred classics every year. It's a lot more fun to see than the regular new junk getting crushed. We crushed a little over 12,000 cars a year at my yard alone
The unibody short box F100 is rare, but they made those from 61-63 I believe. In long box form too. The Lakewood 500 you crushed was a 1961 only model (Lakewood 700 was higher trim level). In 1962 they dropped the Lakewood name, and the 500 trim level for wagon, offering a 700 and Monza (top of the line, with fancier interiors, and optional bucket seats. Monzas are the rarest wagons, though. In may of 62, they dropped the wagon altogether and started making convertibles instead. It's sad seeing them crushed, but I weep for the Corvair! Numbers for the unibody F100 are lumped together, last year was 1963, and production fell to 5,456 according to an F100 forum. Specifically the 1961-only Lakewood 500 production was 5,591.
That Lakewood station wagon was the hardest one to see crushed but it is what it is cowboy.I hope you got yourself a boat for fishing .There were plenty back in the bushes.🤠
I would have liked to have that 61-63 Ford F100 unibody pickup! That would have made a good 2021 winter project! That man crushed alot of good project and parts vehicles! What a shame! You're just doing your job! Take care.
How'd cowboy 🤠... Definitely the ford F100 😁... Keep safe brother.... Lots of love and best wishes to you and your family and Mario ❤️... Respect...... From Rosie & Darren... Over here in Earl Shilton Leicestershire England.......
The Fiat you went to fetch @ roughly 14:00 was a 850 model as I recall. Thought how neat it would be to get one when I was a teenager. There were still some left on the road way back then......
If you weren't so far away, I could have used that 79 Tbird for parts. Looks like the sheet metal and trim were good. I have a nice 78 Tbird and having extra sheet metal is good insurance in case something happens. But hauling a parts car from Texas to Buffalo, NY is costly.
Rest in pieces. How many more vehicles are left to be crushed? Should be a good payday, but it’s sad to see all those trucks and that big old boat of a car to go.
No one wanted it. I made videos of that stuff our there. 3 months prior. Not 1 person said anything about taking any of that stuff. NOT 1 PERSON. So whaddya expect? We tried
The white car, or what was left of it, in-between the F100 and the Corvair Lakewood was a Studebaker Hawk. It had a few parts, but not much. That one was a '62, '63, or '64. Studebakers, except for the Avanti, had bolt on rear fenders, not weld on quarter panels. So if a person smashed the rear fender, it was easy to bolt a new one on. Here is a video about an Australian in England who has some awesome Hawks. ua-cam.com/video/myCr4ZzLjZE/v-deo.html
Daaaanngg!!! I don't think "Ultra" rare has ever been used on this channel. Like how rare. Please give us more details if you would. Bubba this is a mobile car crushing company. We don't pick the cars. We move our equipment in the customer points out the cars and we go to smashing. This time it happened to be some rare classic pieces
Considering the condition of the vehicles here, its not like they could be saved without pretty much replacing every bit of metal on them. For this location, can't say anything would fall into my 'worth saving' for anything other than slowly disintegrating yard art. Even small parts I suspect are too far gone to be of much use, and the glass I suspect is also delaminating once you get close enough to see it. So no, no broken hearts with crushing the stuff here. As for the unreachable tempo, how come the excavator can't toss that closer to where you can get to it? They didn't seem to have a problem grabbing the Z's, and some other vehicles.
Ha... if you need that window broken just sell it and ship it! they'll get it done lol. It's interesting seeing how you pick the cars to crush/stack. You should talk about it some while you do it. I've run a lot of equipment and done plenty, but I would just be grabbing closest and making a mess I guess haha.... I know you're not picking this one and that one out of the blue. I'm not talking about the owners keepers either, I realize you duck n dodge those all the time. Thanks for sharing
Some of the older crushers will out run the new crushers. I have a old mac crusher it has a radio heater & air conditioner. This crusher the operator can sit down & crush cars & trucks. We crush cars in the rain & snow before the crusher operator got it made with a cab on the crusher with a heater in the winter
When we tell our grand children why there's no cool cars around anymore we'll have videos like this to show them why, lesson of the day kids everybody needs to eat no matter how smart you aren't!!
Hahahaha.....can you also tell them the world is full of big mouths? Can you tell them about keyboard complainers? We posted videos of this stuff months prior to crushing. Not 1 person stepped up to buy anything. You raise yours and i will raise mine. But mine sure won't wait around for some tire kicking keyboard complainers. Corvairs were terrible cars for people who didn't like cars or driving. If you were involved at all in driving the car they were fine, and they were great 'first cars' for more than a decade. The later models, '65-'69, were vastly improved, and with a little attention they could be world class sports cars on a budget.
As hard as it was to see you put the forks through that 1979 Thunderbird, it wasn't repairable clearly. It was not the one, as you said. I'll find one in due time.
F100 unibody is the rarest you've crushed. Especially with it being a short bed.

Waiting for the window to smash on each stroke of the crusher was like hoping for some overhanging coins to drop on a coin pusher 🤑🍻
Best part is hearing the doors squeak when they get pressed in. White f150 was kinda nice. Don't know how rotten the floor was though.

Shouldn't be sad though seeing that sea of patina. Shredding, sorting, and using the materials for new products gives it all meaning. Cheers-
I wish more people would understand it like you do 👍🤠
That 60’s Fiat would be worth about $30,000 restored maybe more and as is quite a bit. Maybe the owner there has no idea of their values
