I've been watching this man every since I stumbled across heading south and it had less than a thousand views Zach's journey has inspired me and thousands of other music lovers and also musicians like myself when he hit the scenes I was about to give up writing even though everyone around me said I was gifted as a singer and song writer but we are always our own worst critic
Anyone else been on this journey with Zach the last couple years and have gotten to watch him grow as a musician, as a person, as a song writer. It is truly relieving and brings me such joy that Zach has found a life worth living. I hope to soon find that ninth cloud, it has been rough, but your music has gotten me through most of it.

I think with corona, we all have been going through it to some degree. However, even before the virus, Zach had a way to put into words how I was feeling it’s always so eerie and awesome. Reminds me that we are all in this together and someday comes one day and a time

Her mom shared with me that y’all had communicated with each other and she had shared her handwriting with you so I just figured you did that. But that is 100% how she writes her name. I am in the military and have been away from home for almost a year and a half. I just got home yesterday and all my friends were there to greet me and they had a bonfire ready. The lyrics of this song with friends by a fire hits hard.
Awe man. This summer after a week in the NICU and months of losing abilities I learned I had a neurological disorder. It affects literally every system in my body, every aspect of my life and each day is different in how good or bad I am. I never know anymore when I wake up if it’ll even be a day worth getting up for. So much I suddenly couldn’t do. Fishing in my kayak, Exploring with my kids, Hunting, concerts, camping. I’ll seize, or black out, or not have the ability to walk, I am never alone with myself anymore and I need that. It’s how I recalibrate. Solitude with music. Not being able to drive anymore. My lover of 20 years is now my caretaker and I’m only 39. How could he ever look at me and want me after having to clean me when I lose my faculties? Everything about this just made me ANGRY. I wanted ME back so I could have MY FUTURE back. My neurologist broke it down for me…he said “There is no tomorrow. From now on, we only think of today, and we work with it.” And tonight here’s Zach telling me the same thing. So here’s what I got… A love who’s been so kind and patient, whose love is apparent daily. Who can still manage to make me feel beautiful when I’m 39 and in a diaper. Lol and these 20 years have been beautiful together. a teen age girl with a guitar and the voice of an Angel who learns Zach Bryan and Hozier and Dermot Kennedy’s songs and plays them sitting next to me in my bed or on the porch…she gives me the gift of live music that I love so much, it just comes in a slightly higher and less manly voice at home instead of a venue😊 I’ve got a mother in law who lets me get sad, then angry, then says that’s good enough, we’re dusting you off and you’re gonna FIGHT I’ve got a Daddy that calls me everyday, who takes me to the 5 different rehabs I go to, and totes his 4 grandkids places so they don’t miss out just bc I can’t drive. I have amazing friends who’ve come alongside my family and made sure on my worst days that my family had a hot meal. I got 4 kids who call me Mama, I have a big son who isn’t embarrassed in front of anyone by my walker or wheelchair or when I’m walking funny, or having tics and jerks. Doesn’t bother him one but. I’ve got a little son, who still needs to always be wrapped up in my arms like he always has, I’m showered in his kisses and his sweet words I’ve got my guitar girl who is also my scary movie partner, cutting up boards of snacks to make every movie special. And I got my sweet quiet brave hearted girl, who will stay by my side when I black out, push my hair from my face and try and hold my hand until a seizure passes. Who will stay at my side when my legs don’t work bc she doesn’t want me to want for anything and not be able to get it. Right now, Right here, that’s what’s sleeping upstairs. Right now, that’s what I’ve got. The life I planned didn’t go the way I planned it. But living in this moment at 2am, I am the most blessed person in the whole dang world. And maybe my some days will come back and I’ll be doubly blessed to experience it all and I’ll sure be happy that someday made it to today. We are a “music” family. It’s huge in all our lives, and by hoping to hear something I maybe hadn’t heard yet from Zach, he gave some wise words and a good song to show me I don’t have to be angry. I can choose to see what’s in front of me, and be happy and satisfied. (I’m sorry to those who stuck around to the end… I know it’s a novella, lol, it’s just when I got words in me I gotta get them out. And sometimes that stuff takes a while😊 ❤)

Keep your head up I've been there had a heart attack at 19 cuz of substance abuse i woke up one morning couldn't walk.. and belive me it gets easier but it takes hard work and its probably one of the hardest thing you will ever do in life but holy once you get out of it it's like a big switch goes in head you'll be able to really enjoy the simple things...you may seem hopeless now but hope will come, I have lost close to 20 friends cuz of over doses and I'm 25 please keep safe
This song sums it all up for me. My college friends are so hard on me for life decisions I have made. Mainly, the decision to become a farmer. My life has changed drastically over the last fifteen years. I work hard, struggle financially at times, but it is the only life that makes sense to me. Specially in a world where north is south and left is right. I get tired of friends telling me how I need to live my life. Yes, I need to have more fun. However, I take pleasure in the simple, but yet complex things production agriculture throws at me. This song, by Zack, speaks to me and shows me that I am living my "Someday".

Zachs songs have so much meaning and story telling, I feel some of his songs like these will not be played on the radio because they’re not “upbeat” enough for today’s mainstream country music fans. I’m not saying this in a bad way, I love Zach and I pray to God that he does get recognition he deserves. This is art. Music like Zach and Childers have so much feel to them, that make you realize how beautiful a songs writing is and the story that they tell. It’s the little things us fans notice and is such an inspiration to me and many others. This man has legend status already and we don’t deserve him. I agree. Both these men are incredibly talented and unfortunately may never make it to the air waves and reach millions of ears but it's possible. My local red dirt country station played some of Childers stuff before they were bought out by a major radio company. I guess all we can do is spread the word and hope the word makes it to the right ears and they get air time without having to sell out and change their styles and at the same time share their music with friends to help them sell albums. This screwed up world needs good wholesome music like this!

can't really put it into words that give him justice but Zach's music saved my life for the first time a little over three years ago. Pandora played a song at random that stopped me in my tracks. Since then, more times that I can count, his words have kept me grounded when I've needed it most. Awe man. This summer after a week in the NICU and months of losing abilities I learned I had a neurological disorder. It affects literally every system in my body, every aspect of my life and each day is different in how good or bad I am. I never know anymore when I wake up if it’ll even be a day worth getting up for. So much I suddenly couldn’t do. Fishing in my kayak, Exploring with my kids, Hunting, concerts, camping. I’ll seize, or black out, or not have the ability to walk, I am never alone with myself anymore and I need that. It’s how I recalibrate. Solitude with music. Not being able to drive anymore. My lover of 20 years is now my caretaker and I’m only 39. How could he ever look at me and want me after having to clean me when I lose my faculties? Everything about this just made me ANGRY. I wanted ME back so I could have MY FUTURE back.
My neurologist broke it down for me…he said “There is no tomorrow. From now on, we only think of today, and we work with it.”
And tonight here’s Zach telling me the same thing.
So here’s what I got…
A love who’s been so kind and patient, whose love is apparent daily. Who can still manage to make me feel beautiful when I’m 39 and in a diaper. Lol and these 20 years have been beautiful together.
a teen age girl with a guitar and the voice of an Angel who learns Zach Bryan and Hozier and Dermot Kennedy’s songs and plays them sitting next to me in my bed or on the porch…she gives me the gift of live music that I love so much, it just comes in a slightly higher and less manly voice at home instead of a venue😊
I’ve got a mother in law who lets me get sad, then angry, then says that’s good enough, we’re dusting you off and you’re gonna FIGHT
I’ve got a Daddy that calls me everyday, who takes me to the 5 different rehabs I go to, and totes his 4 grandkids places so they don’t miss out just bc I can’t drive.
I have amazing friends who’ve come alongside my family and made sure on my worst days that my family had a hot meal.
I got 4 kids who call me Mama, I have a big son who isn’t embarrassed in front of anyone by my walker or wheelchair or when I’m walking funny, or having tics and jerks. Doesn’t bother him one but.
I’ve got a little son, who still needs to always be wrapped up in my arms like he always has, I’m showered in his kisses and his sweet words
I’ve got my guitar girl who is also my scary movie partner, cutting up boards of snacks to make every movie special.
And I got my sweet quiet brave hearted girl, who will stay by my side when I black out, push my hair from my face and try and hold my hand until a seizure passes. Who will stay at my side when my legs don’t work bc she doesn’t want me to want for anything and not be able to get it.
Right now, Right here, that’s what’s sleeping upstairs. Right now, that’s what I’ve got. The life I planned didn’t go the way I planned it. But living in this moment at 2am, I am the most blessed person in the whole dang world. And maybe my some days will come back and I’ll be doubly blessed to experience it all and I’ll sure be happy that someday made it to today.
We are a “music” family. It’s huge in all our lives, and by hoping to hear something I maybe hadn’t heard yet from Zach, he gave some wise words and a good song to show me I don’t have to be angry. I can choose to see what’s in front of me, and be happy and satisfied.
(I’m sorry to those who stuck around to the end… I know it’s a novella, lol, it’s just when I got words in me I gotta get them out. And sometimes that stuff takes a while😊 ❤)

This song sums it all up for me. My college friends are so hard on me for life decisions I have made. Mainly, the decision to become a farmer. My life has changed drastically over the last fifteen years. I work hard, struggle financially at times, but it is the only life that makes sense to me. Specially in a world where north is south and left is right. I get tired of friends telling me how I need to live my life. Yes, I need to have more fun. However, I take pleasure in the simple, but yet complex things production agriculture throws at me. This song, by Zack, speaks to me and shows me that I am living my "Someday".

Zachs songs have so much meaning and story telling, I feel some of his songs like these will not be played on the radio because they’re not “upbeat” enough for today’s mainstream country music fans. I’m not saying this in a bad way, I love Zach and I pray to God that he does get recognition he deserves. This is art. Music like Zach and Childers have so much feel to them, that make you realize how beautiful a songs writing is and the story that they tell. It’s the little things us fans notice and is such an inspiration to me and many others. This man has legend status already and we don’t deserve him. I agree. Both these men are incredibly talented and unfortunately may never make it to the air waves and reach millions of ears but it's possible. My local red dirt country station played some of Childers stuff before they were bought out by a major radio company. I guess all we can do is spread the word and hope the word makes it to the right ears and they get air time without having to sell out and change their styles and at the same time share their music with friends to help them sell albums. This screwed up world needs good wholesome music like this!

can't really put it into words that give him justice but Zach's music saved my life for the first time a little over three years ago. Pandora played a song at random that stopped me in my tracks. Since then, more times that I can count, his words have kept me grounded when I've needed it most. So glad he's getting the recognition he deserves and hope he knows how much his words have helped so many people through their worst times

I'll never forget Kelly Reilly yelling, "you sound great" at sound check. It was surreal to look around, thinking, how the heck did I get sandwiched between Zach, a beautiful song and the lovely smart Kelly Reilly. When I heard the first few chords I felt all choked up. Couldn't find one flaw in an entire ocean of ZB songs.
