Lapu-Lapu is becoming a more viable pick nowadays, with his buff of controlled sustainability with the buff on his passive, and the overall buff to damage on all his skills make him A. Tougher to kill B. Have more burst options.
He'll be nerfed next patch though

The nerf is not the ult phase so i think its still oke, just a little lower the damage from the 1st skill flying sword. Except they nerf the passive gain when ult, i think lapu still a viable pick

I know edith is not in the list, but i am having an extremely good time with her this season. She can be played in literally any lane except mid(probably even mid, who knows). Has strong cc, can sustain a lot, deals extra damage to minions(fast wave clearing), and can mop the floor with enemies in late game with her ult. Her kit is just so handy

I agree, I am crushing it with Edith in EXP and Roam. Tanky, can deal a substantial amount of damage and multiple CC skills.
Started using her recently,haven't lose yet in legend 1.

Dude I CANT FUCKING STAND a good Edith player. Legit makes the game wayyy harder than it needs to be haha. I haven’t played Edith, but should have been in this list forsure. I know she’s hell to go against an that’s good enough for me lol
Edith definitely is my "go to" tank if I have to play as a tank. She's definitely good in any role. She's a versatile hero and definitely tanky yet provides enough damage to kill enemies. From my experience, I do even get MVP's most of the time and I have a high winrate for Edith. I hope they don't nerd or buff her soon.
if you want to rank up solo, master at least 3 heroes for each different role so you can adjust in draft pick whether to counter the enemy or to synchronize with your team lineup . If you're not good at using meta heroes, you ended up giving the enemies an advantage. If you're good at using none meta heroes, you can carry the game

Here’s my top 10 list for solo ranking: (based from my experience)
1. Ruby (totally not biased) - if u know how to pick ur fights, and set with her ult + flicker combos, she’s a menace. Have lots of cc thats spammable especially her ult, very good against most assassins. Both do well in engaging and disengage and is flexible being able to go EXP, Gold, Roam, and even Mid! Build dmg, hybrid or all thicc.
2. Yu Zhong - Almost the same as Ruby but he deals way more dmg with just lesser cc, he can initiate so very well with his ult, and can catch everyone in his inescapable petrify+3rd skill combo. Can do well in both 1v1s and teamfights.
3. Lapu-Lapu - the recent buff on being able to control his passive, plus get more rage on his ult, made him alot more sturdier, and aggressive. Same as yu zhong but is able to sustain alot more than him, durability, cc immunity, shield, sustain, and high base dmg.
4. Selena - If you can master at prediction aiming (her abyssal arrows) on almost every target, she’s a hard snowballer for the team, can either EXP, Mid and most importantly Roam, a good Abyssal shot on any one of the enemies core will ensure a guarantee victory.
5. Brody - My absolute comfort pick for gold lane (cuz i suck at almost every mm when it comes to positioning xD). What makes him so good is his durability compared to most mms, and his so very convenient 2nd skill that lets him stun the target and dash away with an additional mov spd buff for easy disengage against most divers, and lets not forget his crazy ult that deals insane burst dmg that’ll stay high throughout every stages of the game. Lastly u only need 2-3 atk items and rest as def for him.
6. Thamuz - I’m an exp main for a reason lol, same as the other sustain/tanky fighters, whats special of him is that he’s very specialized in killing mm, thanks to his synergy with Vengeance, u get to slow them to hell and chip away their hp and if they try attacking back, just pop the spell and they die faster. Crazy sustainability, can actually split push well, and overall a menace if u underestimate him.
7. Lesley - since the update, she hasn’t been that much banned anymore or picked up as much, but still, don’t ignore her crazy spike in late game.. u dont even need to build penetration on her to deal crazy dmg cuz she deals CRIT TRUE DMG, if u can just position well with her then she’s a no brainer mm to rank up, and what makes her harder is just bcs of her conceal skill compared to other mms. Will shred thru tanks with 2-4 shots in late game, and also easy vision with her ult for any suspecting ganks.
8. Cecilion - im surprised beto didn’t even mention him lol. Same as Lesley, the longer the game goes, the stronger he gets, and usually in soloq, when enemies are not fully in sync, they’ll have no easy time catching ceci if u can position with him well, his ult makes him even more harder to catch + purify/sprint. Can clear waves with ease and if u get a good snowball with ceci, it’s practically ggs alrdy.
9. Valir - as the meta is now more towards tanky lineups, valir with his passive is the perfect hero against them, especially bcs most tanky lineups are slow/melee heroes, valir can easily slow them down and chip away their hp, just like any mage, positioning is key. But if ur facing assassins, just go Tank Valir xD ull still deal decent dmg from his passive. Being able to purify from cc with ult, life-saving 2nd skill, and just overall cc, enemies tanking they have it easy when they see a valir, but next thing they know is their hp is slowly melting.
10. Barats - If ur a casual jungler and just want easy epic to mythic grind, this is the guy for you. He’s not even that popular among the meta tanks, but his kit just fits so well as a tank jungler, strong snowballing cuz of his passive. Strong ult that keeps his sustain and stun back enemies. Useful 2nd skill that can both push them back or to you to swallow. Decent dmg, and if enemies take any assassins, ull have no problem dealing with them. Overall good hero for a tank jungle, and easy rank up if enemies underestimate his power.

@@bananapeel2897 nope, too conditional. The enemy should be using cecil or pharsa for kagura to be able to shine, that's from personal experience though. Even then, kagura would be hard to use if the high grounds used purify as well

Xavier, ceci and Zhask are also some good solo rank mage choices that have worked for me. Xavier ceci dmg and cc are good, paired with sprint and they are golden. Zhask is great at snowballing and pushing turret
Zhask use to be 1 of my mains, after a bih nerf where he can't regain full hp on he's creep, he's not that good anymore, probably 1 of worse mages

Contrary to what others may think, Gord, Vale, Moskov and Saber are all fantastic picks. Gord is amazing at zoning and poking and preventing offensive pushes with his spammable, long range skills. Vale can stop any jungler from ganking him with the DMG-CC-DMG build and can zone really well in team fights, while also pressuring the enemies to fight behind their turrets. Moskov’s passive makes him an absolute nightmare once he starts snowballing. Saber is able to shut down any squishy, mobile hero thanks to his auto lock ult. Harley, Haya, Lance, etc are all, imo, easily countered with Saber.
What Beto said is true; it’s not the hero, it’s the player. Every hero has the potential to be great if you know the core fundamentals/objectives of this game, and can efficiently utilize any hero’s tool kit.

but Saber falls off in the late game..when enemies already have def items and can kill you quickly if you go in..you need to have a good late game team, or finish the game as soon as possible.
The other assassins you mentioned have so much mobility than Saber specially Hayabusa and Lancelot..so in the late game they can go in..pop some immortalities/WoN or Winters then go out, that's why they are more proficient.

Sometimes for me saber in late game , feel like *kill-trade* situation, bcuz after you(saber) kill one enemy, then there no doubt that you'll be killed, it's quite hard even more if enemy almost always come together (2 or 3 at one lane).

I've been solo queueing for the past 7 seasons with kagura, she is quite literally the full package, has decent cc (her ult and passive) can easily target the backlines, her umbrella can give visions of bushes, and most importantly can purify cc with her 2nd skill, she is very rarely banned, and is never too forgotten or too meta that she becomes banned every match, normally I'd play her as aggresive midlaner but sometimes I'd go as jungler, exp or gold laner whenever no one wants to fill those roles.

Same. I've been using Kagura these past few seasons and zhe carried me very well. She is a complete package mage. I like her more than Kadita cause Kadita has very long cool downs while Kagura's main damage is her first skill which is a bit spammable.
Kagura is an antimeta heroes she get picked half the time to counter lineups

Yeah...she has always been broken to a good Kag user bc she has 6 skills. Poke, dash, cleanse, cc, knockback, and a shield.....she doesnt really have a weakness except maybe no speed buff in her skills.
@@brucestack1658 I am a kagura one trick 2050 games 62% win rate peaking at Mythic 5xx stars and i can vouch for this statement that she is indeed the true package of all mages. Left MLBB 2 years ago for wild rift and came back and she is still so good due to her versatile kit. Just sad that I missed out on her skin =/ Also for some reason no one mentions her in any of their meta videos. good thing I guess. That way i can spam her in all my games. :)
@Lennard Koh i think the reason no one mentions her is the same as fanny....she takes a decent amount of skill to play so the average player wont be effective with her...whereas anyone can be an decent Eudora or Valir. Its the same as Fanny or any other high ceiling vharacter. Sad part is, there is really no way for them to balance her without completely reworking her....most revamp focus on a core skill and her "core" is her versatility. So unless they took away her 2 stances, they cant really fix her and that would ruin her as a character. Guess they hope the difficulty of playing her will keep her pick rate low. Maybe I should play her more and really master her but I just dont find her gameplay "fun". I wish they would make mages more relevant....the whole assassin and marksman meta is kinda lame tbh. Also, the only way to get dope skins is the gatcha system with their events....wish they would make all of them purchaseable or earnable with relying on random draw chance.
I like it when my main is almost always never mentioned. That way I never worry about it getting banned or someone else picking it. ❤

been a Hayabusa main since a few years ago with a 1k+ matches, but when the meta shifted I totally ignored him, seeing this makes me happy atleast he gets recognized from time to time regardless of the meta.

I keep worrying that they will give her a revamp bc she has been low pick rate. She does struggle once you get to Mythic though as her ambushes become more predictable and players are better at dodging.

Aamon is great too. I almost always win a game when playing him and it's pretty easy to carry the team when things go wrong.

I always like mentioning Minsitthar in these kinds of videos since he is actually a really great hero that can easily carry a game because of his insane damage and great survivability. I personally adore this character because he is just an annoying sidelaner/tank to deal with for the enemy since he can stop dashes has a great stun skill and a hook. (Sidenote: The hook is not like franco hook btw its easier to dodge Minsi hook)
I'm very surprised Beto hasn't done a video about minsitthar probably the most underrated sidelaner in the entirety of mlbb 😮💨
When I see minsi in exp lane I’m always like “free win for me” it’s easy to bully him in lane with that slow hook and his lack of mobility

Minsithar is the underrated hero who is very much reliable in the current meta which consists of high dash heroes when usee correctly.
I literally melt him down with Fredrinn & my armour so his damage can’t affect me much
Yu Zhong is one of my best he can go for backline easily but here is the thing if your team is bad can't do anything about it
True, many peoples expect you to open a teamfight, while in actuality you ALMOST NEVER want to be the first one charging due to how squishy he is after his nerfs, even in dragon form.
Also, too many YZ still overestimates his regen in lane after the nerfs, so more often than not they feed too much crucial early kills leading to their lane counterpart to snowball, or even worse, their enemy's jungler
They should have increased his dmg.

@@ヤムララジャ that's why I like to build him tank item first item then war axe late game i mean if the enemies have alot of heal heroes I would buy dominance ice first item for Yu Zhong instead of boots then boots then if enemies do the same thing I buy oracle than war axe then more defensive items base on situation

Thunderbelt on Fredrinn is perfect for him, every skill is spammable and the 1st and 2nd has a basic attack in the end, it even slows them down while also giving more offense and also being defensive at the same time.

The reason Haya IMO is contested rn is because he's one of the only assassins that can deals dmg while being safe thx to his ult, the other being Aamon and Hanzo. Sure, others like Lancelot and Fanny could burst full HP marksmans while being slippery, but they still needs a small gap to deals dmg, whether for approaching or using their skills, where their enemies could kill them thx to how bursty DHS trinity build is
You need like a fast hand for those slippery heroes hahah. As someone with a sticky hand, I'm usually just an exp laner and a roamer or a tanky jungle
I reached Mythic using Cecilion. Just lucky that most junglers I played with eventually give me the blue buff in late game. I once tried Harith in gold lane (because our jungler was Granger) and yes, I was winning my lane ✌
How about yin? He's really powerful in team fights because he could just bring the enemy's damage dealers to his domain and kill them with the right items and also stun their enemies in his domain or out of his domain also.
If you had smart enimies his pretty easy to counter
yin is dead unless you play in epical glory. the nerfs killed him. if you still see him in match dom ice+antique cuirass shuts him down so yah not a good pick
Not to mention that he is easily countered by any hero with CC immunity (joy, kadita), purify if you have any hero with movement speed, or heroes that gain a shield, or heroes that have knockbacks. Really he is only good early game in low rank against squishy heroes.
Yin is ez to counter, his ultimate is his greatest strength and weakness. All I hav to do is wait for his ult to finish, I either use nana rabbit or cyclops ult, freeze him and get the kill.
People don't talk about Luo Yi but she's a really good control mage carry, carried me all the way to mythic.
The cc and burst is good, and with the ult you have pressure all over the map
Luoyi is scary when u can move yr team & strategise the attack but this only works in mythic & above. her cc also works well as its hard to avoid and she has a large area where the skill is casted .
I reached Glory, with Alucard, Guinevere, Dyrroth and Carmilla, with mostly Solo plays. (Last Season)
So in my opinion, Dyrroth and Carmilla shall also be in the list.
Dyrroth can almost Win any 1v1 fight against almost all the Fighters in early game, even Yu Zhong and Thamuz losses against Dyrroth (Exceptional)
And according to my personal Experiences, Dyrroth is extremely good for Solo rank pushing, as he can do many things himself alone.
You would not win against trinity build thamuz due to golden staff making his ult heal prog multiple times.
So I guess you just did not find people that adjust their builds. Most buy the wrong offensive and defensive items.

@@LRSGamingYT I have to respectfully disagree with your comment. Dyrroth is a great hero for 1v1. But that’s literally it. In team fight he’s useless, too vulnerable to cc. You can split push with him but at that point you might as well play another hero (a hero that can actually do everything, split, team fight, 1v1)
@@G0D_COMPLEX Team fight depends on your team compositions and Enemies strategy, Like in a team fight he must attack from the back like as assassin, i use pretify for insane burst with Ultimate, along with cc skill.
He does also have huge AOE skills and insane damage.
And for pushing, he's actually not that bad, because i always focus on pushing rather than team fights, and in the end i would have more push than our mm like moskov or Mellisa, you can also build attack speed item on it, it'll trigger his Passive soon as well, meaning more Damage and regen.
Even in late game, he stil thus good damage with defense item because of his Second Skill, and i also go Semi tank, for sustaining. That's it.
I had a good time using Ruby for S25 and S26, for the first time I reached Mythic with 90%+ of the matches were done solo AND 90%+ Ruby Rate. Now since her "meta" time is over, I hope I can still use her for pushing thru Mythic 🥰
You forgot Lapu-Lapu. He's very strong right now as a fighter and as an exp laner
Lapu needs some talent for the player to aim his skills well which is rare to see, his damage got buffed tons lots

Argus carry potential as a fighter feels way stronger than some of the others. also chang''e ult is insane for helping turtle fights / stealing enemy jungle buffs. combine that with enchanted talisman + fleeting time and you're looking at an ult every 10 seconds at late game.

You can try using Hanabi... An new goddess after revamp... She can do damage like Miya or speed like Karrie... But one downside of using Hanabi you are often the first priority from the enemy team cos she can't blink like Beatrix...

As a Clint main, I have to agree XD.His burst damage, especially skill 1, is a nightmare right from the start, and he can 1v1 any mm except irithel n Brody imo
I’m a Clint main. I never have an issue playin him. It’s almost an easy dub if I get the pick lol
The problem with Clint is he is an endgame hero, if you have a bad start, say you get ganged alot, the support doesn't help you etc you will probably fall back very bad, and just keep praying the match doesn't end so you can farm gold, he needs a good team (which I don't have :()

I don’t see many people using Vale, he is a very fun one shot mage, can be very flexible thanks to his upgrades and I dare say he is the fastest mage in the game
He is the fastest, hands down. I have a build centered around that and triggering effects with his Damage skill 2.
Demon Shoes (mana)
Ice Queen (more slow)
Flame Wand (debuff and burn)
Genius Wand (debuff and pen)
Crystal (damage spike)
Blood wings (more damage)
All three Wand give +% movement speed which mixes nice with his passive. They also put out the highest damage. I go damage1, damage2, cc ult. Makes for a poke and run gameplay until youre ready to skill2, ult, skill 1. Deletes all squishies and can really hurt tanks. The pull from his ult plus the stacking slows from ice queen and his 2 basically immobilizes the enemy. Also, his skill 2 deletes gloo's ult.
Vale and Kadita were my 2 maines, I have over 800 matches with 60% winrate on both.

Badang is good this season because of his stuns he can defeat almost every one in 1v1 when he gets to level 2 if you use his passive wisely just 3 offensive item is enough and the rest is defensive item the 3 offensive item you need to build is demon hunter, golden staff, then malefic roar and emblem is assassin emblem high dry or killing spree
I would suggest a 2 person queue ranked video would be topped by anything double regen with any support healer plus a hero with regen abilities. Balmond+Estes is very toxic in low rank matches.

Harley is my top pick this season! I can do any lane or any role with him LOL. I tried Roam/Exp/Gold/Mid/Jungle and he is really good at it since my only target for every game are their dps heroes only.

Started playing Gloo after m4 and I am definitely a fan. No one bans him in my server and I generally tank. It's a gift.
Supreme baxia main here, and tbh just like Fred and akai, baxia jg is unstoppable once u know how to use him, also he can start ganking at level 2 since he isn't ult dependent. So he can do good as roamer too
My top3 best heroes to rank up in SoloQ are
Faramis:can easily deal alot of damage and can be good support
Khaleed:one of the best heroes in exp lane and can easily vaporize your enemy in early(in my opinion)
Aulus:might be weak in early but a pain in the ass in late
Soloing with Minsitthar this season and now on Global rank 18. Flexible hero that can be on exp or roam. Countering so many meta right now.

For me Freya is also good for solo q, been using her to rise to Glory alot ngl.
If i cant use Freya, i would usually go for Alice as either exp or hyper. If my team have exp and hyper, i would go for Rafaela for that sweet movement speed up xD
In my server Joy actually almost never got banned, in fact Yve and Xavier got more bans than her
Karrie is also a top ban pick here as everyone basically knows how insane she is rn with the new improved item

It's funny how betosky said there are only two heroes have the suppress ability, Franco and Kaja. It's true u can avoid the first phase of Barats ult by using purify. But I mean he does have the suppress ability in the second phase.

Climbing this season is hard, I just got wanwan yesterday and i was practicing in Classic and I was getting blamed with my team , Ranked are worst , My team gets destroyed in seconds even though i am doing good and then team just sit on base recalling saying Surrender. Enemy gets huge lead on us and I can’t do much , I can play all roles except for exp lane .

On gold lane :- team fight starts in exp side and I can’t leave my lane I can mostly go to mid lane to clear wave if necessary
On tank :- Hyper Doesn’t want to do objective or he gets destroyed by opponent
On Mage :- Tank doesn’t like to cooperate with me , Just baby sits mm
On hyper:- I like to play saber or hayabusa but its hard to do objectives if mage and tank aren’t supportive

Terizla is a solid solo que option (i only solo que), i hit MG for the first time last season and was global 36 with him, played teriz probably 85% of my matches last season
He’s pretty solid, damage & sustain wise. Nt many players know his skills v well, so to block his skills nt many know how to counter. He has skills similar to tanks, tanky & fighter, pretty flexible hero i wld say.
As a sun main I think he deserves to be on this list he's great at tower pushing + deals some insane damage if played well.

I have a question I use High and Dry assasin talent on clint , the emblem is I think lvl 30 .
So in that case cant I beet enemy mm with max or lvl 45 mm even in early .
I have hard time against Karrie bcz of of heals , moscov stun arrow , melissa with her doll skill .
Most often they have inspire too . Do you think i should go all out and burst them down .
Also when I get Bod , I can win them 🤔 but at that point Im also stating behind tank .

As a valentina main, i have barely lost 1v1 fight. She is just too op but in right hands. If mastered her, you don't need any other mage to look for. She can turn game within seconds. I defeat almost every hero in 1v1 fights. Just be careful since cc heroes are nightmare for her. Still you can try escape with flicker and two blink skills she have.
She is overall great mage and also since she can copy enemy ult, her effectiveness depends on how powerful your enemy ult is.

I recommend Lesley in this list. Because she is one of the monster in late game. She can carry whole team if game goes more than 15 min. I build 3 bod + boh and just one shot those squishy heroes in enemy team
I have Leomord and Valentina at least. I've been thinking of using them for quite awhile now but I'm not skilled yet. I'm using them in classic to practice.
what about faramis, as a estes main i thought it was trash but after watching m4 i gave it a chance and its pretty good and really fun
it has 6.5/10 dmg and fun skills, i love to mid with him (then at 7-8min buy dire hit) but roam is meh 4/10 at max
edit: faramis if u have atleast 3 good teammates its a free win, very strong not op tho, i always mvp with him. AND U HAVE TO MID WITH HIM, roam with him is bad. His 1st skill should have lower cooldown too
Faramis is weak, despite the revamp, low damage compared to other mages, long cooldown of ult. He only works well when u hav all teammates ard during fights to unleash his power. Estes despite his heal heal ability, in high ranks he will be the first target even bef the dps, and pretty ez to kill.
@@skyvioletstrawberry i use full mage build, but i agree it is not op, it's very squishy and does low dmg.
But it's very fun. and not that bad it's OK. if i have 3 good teammates i can dominate getting mvp 15.1 score 17/3 average
( i use full mage build ofc, but with dire hit roam after 7 min most times)

It is short listed. She performed extremely well in M4 and so they are nerfing her passive damage and her ultimate damage. The attackbspeed items revamp broke her, so now she goes on the backshelf again.
