This is the 2nd drama where she plays a FL who had to betray her lover to help save then and although the men had every reason to take revenge a be toxic the men never crossed the line of being evil and doing unspeakable acts against the FL. I appreciate the writers for this. The other drama was with Lu Qing and I suggest you watch that one too.
There’s a 3rd one and the ML is this same actor! It’s called “The Later Us”.

The amount of missing or mistranslated subtitles at key moments is really frustrating. I love the two leads, but this video is hard to watch unless you like to stop it and google translate some of the missing information.

It was fake. The guy in bed with her was her friend. I think she didn’t want to drag ML down because her the mistress tricked FL’s mom into taking all the gambling debts and the mom got sick so medical debt and gambling debt would have killed ML to help her repay. That is what I understood it to be.

Why do these dramas portray the FL's as senseless most of the time. Her mother has been in a coma for years and is awake now, she could have finished saying her vows and gone to see her mother but no, she stopped the wedding. This is the second time she's leaving the guy without any proper explanation and she still expects to be forgiven? 🙄🙄

I hate how much they were hurting each other, so I read all the positive comments about this one but I beg to differ, the FL is the worst of the worst! She hurts the ML without blinking all in the name of her mum, she has no brains at all, the ML is good and was in love, he was ready to forget her past and still love her, yet on her wedding day, few minutes to just say her vows she goes off with someone who clearly has bn chasing her, this drama is dumb dumb dumb, I am a fan of both ML, FL and the 2ML but this is trash!
