Bought these over a year ago, based on a UA-cam review AND the fact they are truly quite subtle & stylish. Revit usually makes quality stuff, and I can only confirm that from other pieces I have from Revit. But... contrary to the claims and much to my disappointment, they are NOT waterproof, and they do NOT work with smartphone screens. For me, they are also definitely NOT wintergloves, as I can feel some riding wind coming through the fabric. I use Revit Taurus GTX for winter riding, or even Gerbing heated gloves. The Cassini's are good mid-season gloves, and then I ride with a full fairing bike. On a naked bike, this might not even be enough for the colder parts of mid-season. The bulky nuckle protection also makes it hard to pull my raingloves over them. Nice product, but if I would've known the drawbacks, I might've looked for something else.
I remember my first designated winter gloves. A pair of Frank Thomas. Zero feel, not particularly warm but when it was warmer they were sticky, and they let water in. No real protection, of course. These Rev'It offerings look good. How's the SCR going? I am envious.
😂 gloves have come along way in sure but my heated grips are a game changer. Having a heat source is so key for my enjoyment. Ah going well! Thank you! Still rocking out the miles a couple of days a week even if just for a coffee
@@1990-t1j yes I’ve seen a few body warmers that are good. Planning on the tiger 900/1200 next year at some stage with heated seat which paired with a vest should be toasty
Hi! Do you think these would be good for cold weather dirt bike riding? We don’t get much wind amongst the trees but we are out in the forest for hours at a time and the fingers on the levers start to get numb with regular enduro gloves.
How badly is the loss of tactile feel with these gloves compared to a traditional winter glove? This one I heard is supposed to be pretty thin for a winter glove.
I don’t have a lot of experience with winter gloves as I tend to use an autumn with heated grips cranked up. It does put me off using them but I would use for a long journey. I’d have to get another glove to check and compare.
Just bought these. I hope they are warm
How did you get on?

Thanks for the video. What's your longterm concleon these?
I like them BUT I prefer my wrists to have more coverage. Just a comfort thing probably. I wear thinner gloves through summer.
@@BikesVansandThings Thanks for the reply!

@@BikesVansandThings The only heated grips I had was on my old BMW R1100GS. They were brilliant. I recommend a heated under-jacket, as well.

Actually yes. They are also pretty robust which should do you well 👍🏻
@@BikesVansandThings Great. I have a pair ordered. I’ll report back after I crash amongst the trees a few times. 😂👍
