Dear makers of this ad If you are reading this please note that though women are capable and glorified for putting others before them it’s not always right to see them with that kind of expectation. It should not be glorified, giving help to yourself when needed is paramount and if anyone chooses to do that should not be considered less of a human. These kind of ads puts women in a light of unrealistic expectations. Some choose to do and some don’t but whatever be the case the one who doesn’t is as good of a women as someone who does.
No these are not unrealistic expectations. Some women do love to work while they are pregnant till 9 th month. And honestly it's only in mind that we cannot do at this time. In fact being active makes much more difference in recovery.

Prega News has always made progressive ads, sorry to say this one is an exception... companies any way frown upon maternity leaves and judge women who take long leaves to take care of kids...to top it, most companies in our country hardly have any paternity leaves which means the woman has not much support, on top of it, ads like this should not add to more unrealistic expectations... it's not easy thing to undergo physically, she needs all the rest and support she can get.
Agreed. There was a similar ad by prega news where there was emphasis on how women can handle both work and child effortlessly. I am a mother and I know what sort of toll it takes on our well being when Women are projected to be superwoman.

As a new mom & a high school teacher, I can confidently say this is a terrible message! Being a teacher is a job like any other and all women deserve their maternity leave. She CAN do both - at the cost of her physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
Yeah all women deserve maternity leave but teacher is not like other jobs it's a responsibility that's why teachers have different and respectful place in our society yeah a person can not manage everything a person can't do both they should need their family and partners and friends support but if a person wants to fulfill her responsibilities on both sides like her own child and the children which are her students and like her own children then what's wrong in it ... everybody should have to be sincere with their professions ,their family and their selves... There is nobody saying that taking maternity leaves are bad the ad is just trying to say that a person should be sincere with her responsibilities... teachers used to say that our students are like our children and this teacher is proving it not only say it from mouth

we had a teacher. she had to go to maternity leave in the middle of the semester. she knew when she have to go on leave and informed us accordingly. 1. She took extra classes before leave 2. we gave exam of that paper early 3. we cooperated fully so that she can go for leave without any tension 4. we submitted all the assignments and term papers long before the semester ends. we worked as a team, not as demanding selfish creatures. So, this was a bad bad bad advertisement.
In my school time also, my chemistry mam and dance mam also got pregnant but they continued teaching till 6months of their pregnency....thanks to such godly teacher 🙏
No she can’t carry both! The situations and pressure push her limits and given such pressure and expectation, any human can carry any number of things!! This carrying both, depicting women as a Goddess with many things in her hand (s) should stop and everyone should have the basic right to live a happy restful, full life! Love from Australia and again she is not designed to carry it all! And also, if one does it all with one’s own will, then undeniably one can be let to do it all( which I doubt hardly the situation is for many women folks in our country)

But the idea of a strenuous work culture should not be promoted in the present circumstances where people are losing their lives for excessive work load. Rather you should have shown that she started calling the kids to her home for special classes. In any case, after pre-boards students get study leave. Also, you definitely shouldn't have shown a nine month pregnant woman climbing stairs.
