My dad died a few months ago, and I stumbled upon their music. It helps me to sort through the mountain of thoughts piled up in my head. This song reminds me of how you feel nothing for the first month or so after somebody's death. Another one of their songs (these memories) shows how you hold the memories of the one you've lost close to your heart, and how at least those memories you can keep. And another song by them called coastline seems to mean that you are able to move on with your life, and find your way back to a "sunny place", find your way back to a smile. At least, that's what they all mean to me.
Heard this whilst at home with my Dad, just the two of us in front of the fire. A silence fell over us both as we sat there and lost ourselves in the music. Myself, I was taken back to the Mountains. I've since tavelled the world and climbed many mountains, trekking through beautiful and wonderous wildnerness often humming this song. I've just bought tickets to see these guys on their tour. I hope I can make it. I admire them for making an old, miserable man smile with fond memories and making me look forward to an unknown future.

What kind of music genre is this?
My dad died a few months ago, and I stumbled upon their music. It helps me to sort through the mountain of thoughts piled up in my head. This song reminds me of how you feel nothing for the first month or so after somebody's death. Another one of their songs (these memories) shows how you hold the memories of the one you've lost close to your heart, and how at least those memories you can keep. And another song by them called coastline seems to mean that you are able to move on with your life, and find your way back to a "sunny place", find your way back to a smile. At least, that's what they all mean to me.

Heard this whilst at home with my Dad, just the two of us in front of the fire. A silence fell over us both as we sat there and lost ourselves in the music. Myself, I was taken back to the Mountains. I've since tavelled the world and climbed many mountains, trekking through beautiful and wonderous wildnerness often humming this song. I've just bought tickets to see these guys on their tour. I hope I can make it. I admire them for making an old, miserable man smile with fond memories and making me look forward to an unknown future.
