  • The Wilson Pro Staff Six.One 95 V14 Tennis Racquet is an old-school control racquet for players who prefer precision and stability. The racquet is designed for professional-level athletes who hit with utmost accuracy and desire more precision. This franchise has been around for nearly 40 years, and this v14 racket portrays the classic Pro Staff model with its heavier frame and head-light balance. Players can expect top-level precision and control thanks to the closed string pattern and smaller head size. The sleek, glossy finish adds elegance and class, allowing players to play and look sharp on the court. The Six.One 95 is over 12 ounces unstrung. Because of the heft, it is one of the most stable racquets available. The small 95-square-inch head and dense 18x20 string pattern are the perfect match for tennis players with advanced technique and the skills to maneuver a heavy frame.

    @TennisExpress How does the feel/flex of this v14 compares to the older versions (i.e nCode 6.1 95, Kfactor 6.1 95)? Thanks !

    @TennisExpress - think they will bring back the 16 mains? I have a 16x18 but wondering if the version 14 is an upgrade...

      I love how my original 6.1 Classic spins the ball with the 16x18 pattern. The 95 head with the 16x18 is a wicked combination.

      I still practice half the time with a nCode Six One 95 16x18 and am also quite happy with the decent spin you can generate. I'd love if they came out with a V14 in that same string pattern...I'd probably buy one and retire one of the 2 "nice" 6.1 nCodes I managed to get. I panic bought an on sale six one v13 18x20 when the v14s came on and I was seeing no new 6.1. I wouldn't buy another one of those string patterns just now, it's mostly decorative since I really like the gloss black finish and still have other frames to use.
      That said I shopped specifically for the ncodes since I was worried about my arm and those seemed to be the right balance of comfort/stiffness. I have since resolved arm issues (though I guess I'll always be sensitive to dead poly strings, my wrist hates them) so I do use another racquet (a pure drive 100) for when I'm being competitive or doing a more fitness based practice session. Right now I'm overweight and working on getting back into being fast enough on court to set up in time, so the unforgiving nature of the six one is not nice lol.
      ...but when you get it right it's so sweet and all you.

      @@zeroelus Have you tried a hybrid with a multi to help with those arm issues?

      @@gab_ale yep, multifilaments are what Im using mostly and they help a lot. I can use poly strings, however once they drop too much in tension, that’s when my pain starts
