I bought one of these July 2014, the front doors kept popping, we had to finish the season without doors because Bobcat UK ran out of doors. Then at 280 hours the track motor went, Bobcat did not have a spare anywhere in the world, two months without a machine or replacement they finally found a motor but took two weeks to get the motor from the USA to the UK! Its not reliable enough.....avoid this machine! And guess what, when I complain Bobcat wash their hands and now the £55K machine is only worth £35K apparently......avoid avoid avoid!
I swear I heard that rock laughing at you.
The bucket ways more then the forks.and that rock is way more then that machine can lift but i guess if he only had a bucket it might work

How much Weight can the T870 pick up for max weight limit?
the Rated operating capacity on the T870 is 3,650 lbs the Operating capacity 50% of tip is 5,215 lbs and the tipping load is 10,430 lbs
i don't think it would be more effective you not gonna fit that rock in the bucket
thats 6000 ot 7000 lbs more then likely
The T870 can lift 6,000 with out weights on it i would say the rock is more like around 9,000

Trying to pickup the rock from up hill was just not the smartest thing I've seen. This guy must not do too much on a bobcat or he rented this one.
