Hello Zack! Thank you for your video. I'm wanting to learn how to keep my neck warm from cold water when the only thing between my neck and the water is a silicon neck seal. I know you're a kayaker and I'm taking about scuba but I figured they're interchangable a bit. Thoughts?
Thanks for watching! Im not a diver, so cant really give you solid advice as the gear although similar is very different from a proper diving dry suit. So depending on the temperatures you are diving in would dictate the proper gear you need, milder temps you could probably use a neoprene balaclava or similar. BUT I would recommend reaching out to your local dive shop/experts for proper guidance.
I like the blue and orange kayak in the background!
Great vid. I think the drysuit adds a measure of flotation assistance as well.
Thanks Tony! We agree - It would also depend on how much air you burp out of your suit.
Great video to help explain this topic.
Thanks Jon!

@@FrontenacOutfitters Great answer! Thanks!
To be dressed warm enough for the water, I am too warm in the air. I dress for the water.
It's a tricky balance, but safer to play it that way. As they say it, 'dress for the swim.'
