My 2016 SS went multiple 11.6's@118 in cool October air in NJ with only a drag radial. I returned the following year with Headers and E85 I went 11.0's@125
Very nice seeing the runs man. I have a '21 LT1, don't plan on taking her to the track but rather joyriding and weekend runs.. lol but listening to any Camaro rip is awesome! I worked at Lansing Grand River where these were assembled and I can say I don't think I'm more proud to work on any other vehicle since. Too awesome.
Never got to run my 10 Speed. They closed the track where I live for good. Total bummer. My stock16’ 6-speed went 12.20 @ 117. Congrats your car is moving !
I know the feeling of being a couple hundredths away from hitting a lower number. It sucks. Congrats on finally dipping into the 11’s. I’m guessing since there are no leaves on the trees, that the DA was pretty low?
FYI Camaros don’t like to come up on the converter with the foot brake. Just hold it at idle and stand on it while coming off the brake. Don’t foot brake it up off idle.
You will run faster times at the track doing that method but please don't do that in a street race it will cost you PS. I lost 500$ in a race doing that. I got a friend i raced that had an SS and we ran 2 times. This is on the street btw and we both were on mickey thompsons Footbraking: beat him out the hole, beat him 3-4 car lengths Idle launch: had to run him down only beat him 1 car, because of the pedal delay
I have a 23 LT1 a10 and it ran 12.07 at 117.3. I wish I had tires so I could take off harder. Also if you double tap the traction control button you put the car in esc comp mode and at that point with traction you can hold the brake and floor the gas pedal and the car will go to a 2k rpm stall which should also help with your launches
Really? I found that I went about a 10th of a second faster from just stalling it up on my own. Usually I do the 2000 stall and then have it in manual mode in first gear then right before it hits 6000 RPM I put it back into drive and turn traction back on and usually it hooks like that. Definitely let me know if you’re going to keep it stock with just tires if you run even faster
@BradleyLT1 yes I've tried it a hundred times with my dragy its a half a tenth slower leaving on the 2 step because of the roll out hesitation from the factory.
hell, yeah! ..what all mods you running? ..great to see that LT1 eat that big ol’392 for lunch.. but, I do think, thos w/b Chargers look plum awesome, I’ve just never been into Dodge products, but I do think, I’d be very happy with a w/b 392 Daytona Charger of Hellcat in my garage!
You spend the big $ to remove the AFM/DOD which is the 4 weak lifters and cam swap? its the ONLY way to remove that issue, you cant just tune it out and ok.
The LT1 doesnt sound stock. 99% of these are running 12.38 to 12.6's @114. The old 8 spd SS ran 12.4's @115. And almoat 4 mph increase of trap speed says theres mods on this LT1. A retune at minimum.
For all my 6th gen owners, we have the superior pony car... I dog walk every stock 5.0 Mustang, R/T or Scatpack Challenger/Charger and the annoying non boosted JDM cars all day from a dig or roll race..... 6th gen or nothing 💪🏾😤
You dump AFM in sport mode, using the manual select option on the SS. Pure motorists and electronic management is off. I use comp mode on a 1le and smoke scats. Hellcats have a hard time trying to hang.
The only competition was another camaro 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

My 2018 mustang went 10.9 with a texas speed cam and hi ram intake.
@@Shiftnlifthuh? You mean cams?
@jeremy8542 nope a texas speed single cam.. I only need 1 the other 3 stays stock! I cut a hole in my hood to fit the camaro hi ram on my mustang!

This makes me even more proud of my 16SS !! Ive run the same time as the Black bolt on camaro minus the headers and E85!!!
Absolutely love it. I have a LT swapped third gen camaro so I’m always talking highly of the LT gen V and up stuff 👍🏾👍🏾
Man you're turning times I turn with E, headers, and an lt2 intake. Both times i ran mine it was over 100 degrees out tho. Really impressive man
Thats badass!! Congrats!
Do you know what the da was?
I have a 21 mach 1 and stock with a drag radial i went 11.60@119 1.84 60' 400da
nice runs man! 💯💨
TC is the first thing l turn off in my 5th gen with drag radials if your wanting to go fast 11.80s is extremly good
Now I know why so good, it was cold and DA was 1000 ft below elevation is low here.

You mean faster mph. Fast is a word ref to speed not time, that word for times would be "quick".
I take it just above idle 1200rpm release the brake at takeoff as I'm flooring it with TC off
@@gloriamaletta8667 Sounds good
If it’s got aftermarket tires, I’d have to argue it’s not stock. But still very fast 💨

Thats unreal, 98% do 12.4 to 12.5@114 stock.
@@bestatparkourFaster is not a measure of time, its of mph, speed.
Ha, ran the exact same time on my lt1/10 speed with a drag pack too. Same color 😂
Don’t nothing sound better than the SS
Flash that convertor. It's like when you was a kid jumping out of the swing. When it hits the peak rpm jump.

50-55 degrees and low humidity is about perfect and clear and sunny it looks like it could be colder in the video maybe 40s
